That is what happens when GM builds a car with plastic staples, they melt and fall apart and catch fire,.

Dealer had just installed an aftermarket exhaust, and screwed it up somehow.

no its when you build a car with to many plastic staples. GM has a lot of good people working in the R&D, motorsports & design dept but I think most of upper mgt cant figure out what a gas pedal is or a MAP sensor.

so you have car people who work in R&D, racing, design and you have upper mangement would would not even know where an oil dip stick is on a GM product, but yet upper management is keen on cutting the cost of a plastic dip stick.

GM better clean their wacky ideas of building a car or it will find it self being owned by Toyota very soon.

Best to buy a car that was built on a wensday or thrusday. Where as any car built on a Monday suffers from a hangover and most other cars Built on a Friday suffers from loose fittings and bolts. LOL J/K.

Z06 is a cool car just, some things can be an issue with them its only the enthusists who know how to take care of them.
