Perhaps someone could post a picture of the car I'm thinking of. I can't remember what is was called or who it was made for, but to the best of my memory it was a Testarossa chassis with a new body that looked like the old 512M and 512S. Anyone? I love this car.
I have a few more from the event, and all of them at higher resolution. Shoot me an email at my screenname@hotmail.com and I will send them over to you. >8^) ER

Well, to be honest, only the mirrors on the 308 are "correct" since they are original 288 GTO units. The dimensions of the body, for example the entire front and the fenders, are wrong. The "250 GTO" is probably a late 250 GT or 250 GTE that was robbed from it's pride. Possibly a Favre recreation. The entire nose, front- and rearfenders, wheels, air outlets are all wrong. In fact, I can't see any part of the body that resembles a real one correctly. Yes, I do hate clones... ;-)

Is this the one you're talking about? FX it was made for Sultan of Brunei ... http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=116787&highlight=FX+Marconi
This car is a 1951 212 Vignale body, vin :090, i was fortunate enough to be involved in the full ground up restoration of this car done by Tillack & co a couple of years ago. www.tillackco.com Craig
Bet that was quite an experience - you're a lucky guy! You got any more info on it? IS it the only one of its kind (I know there where other Vignales but haven't seen/heard of any others identical to this one)? Who owned it originally - I'm intrigued by the fact that it's RHD.
First owner Marzotto brothers , first Ferrari testdriven by a car magazin , see Cavallino 130 there is a second car with some small differences chassis 076E
Nope, I know the FX, this car was the only one made, it was red on a Testrossa chassis but it looked like the old sports cars.
