They will. I have 6.5inch speakers in my 348 doors. They should be the same. Not sure where you are going to mount the crossovers and tweeters?
The tweeters could be mounted in the AC ducts on the sides of the dash. They will barely be visible behind the outlet, and the ducts will still move air. Run the wires in through a joint in the duct, such as where it connects to the dash vent. The crossovers could either go in the door or behind the dash, wherever they will fit. As long as they are wired correctly, it doesn't really matter where you put them. I have installed several component sets in different cars this way, and it always works out well.
Ive done that also. Just wast sure if he wanted to go the a/c vent way in a Ferrari. But there are many places to put it all. As long as its done properly, thats the main thing I guess.
I have surface mount tweeters available. They have a small plastic housing for surface mounting so no cutting is required.
Surface mount is easier, but I prefer to keep everything as hidden as possible. The less of your stereo system a thief can see, the less likely they are to risk breaking in! A friend of mine that is now an electrical engineer did car audio install for about 12 years. He did some pretty over the top show systems, but he could also hide everything if you wanted. He once built a sub enclosure that held two 10's that looked like a spare tire in the back of a Cherokee. The less visible, the better. My .02
The tweeters I have can also be surfaced-mounted. They protrude less than 3/4" behind. They are on my site. There are two models. Only the high end one is therein listed, but there is a lesser expensive model as well. Very advanced products. take a look.
THERE ARE!!!!!! Before adding more tweeters to you Fcar, Tweeters came with your car from Factory. They are under the far left and right air con vents. After taking them out have a look on the outside part, give them a twist and slide them towards the inside. Then they should come out. You dont want to add extra weight by having two set of tweeters
I took mine down to the shop and due to the depth limitation of the doors he had to try a number of different 6" speakers before he got something to fit. I think they were Sonys and they had ribbon tweeters that fitted quite nicely under the air vents. Very stealthy until he put the bazoka tube in and I got my local upholsterer to cover the tube in leather to match the rest of the car. Finished it with an Alpine head unit with an ipod connection and an amp upfront to drive it all. Sounded great and no bass rattles from the door and its very easy to get it all back to stock if needed. Sorry about the bad pictures . . . Its night here.
