nice pics. and i like the f 40 video. i was there and it was awesome. i got a question though, why does the f40 make that loud poping/backfiring/ i dont know what sound when you let off the gass/downshift or what not?
It's the waste gate opening, from the twin turbo system, I'd imagine...........lot's goes on under the hood of an F40... Dave tells no lies! I was riding with him and we were waived by from all of those cars, including an F40. No joke. I can only imagine what was going through their heads at the time because I know I personally got one hell of a kick out of it. Something tells me their reaction might not have been the same!

Actually, did pass you the one time I saw you on the track. (either John or Carb pointed you out ahead) Of course that doesn't count the time I passed you while you stopped to cut the grass. Better stick to the Miata, that CS is too much for ya!
You know your right Dvae, you did pass me. After I spun out, The CS was only running on 1 bank. Talk about a brown spot in your pants. But we got her back to the pits. I shut thet thing down, and it fired up on all 8. I gave another 4 or 5 people rides and then I was done. Boy my right leg was killing me from feathering the throttle. Lyndon nor me had any traction in the rear end. The rear end would just step out at every curve. But no one passed me after the grass cutting incodent except the black 430. We were having a fault, it was telling us that one of the supension sensors was giving a bad reading. Jim said it could have been the sensor going bad or something was wrong with the shocks. We are sending it to the shop this week. Lyndon said he was glad I had spun the car, now I join the ranks of him and Dan. Both of them ahd spun it up at the trooper track. I think we are going to get a set of slicks for it when we go to that track. WAY to much car for that track. But it is just right for the trooper track. Kelly
Actually it was designed to haul the F40 on the top. It takes less than 3 minutes to strap the car down and you can wear a white shirt and not get dirty! I heard you liked the rig! it took me over a year to finish the drawings and get it built. Not cheap, but it drives like a cadillac! It is my most popular vehicle! I guess you know the entire roof is party central with laser cut cavallino railings and a red canvas roof and red chairs! The truck has strobes and sirens! I miss my F40, but I am glad you bought it, I know you are taking good care of her, I get first option to buy her back remember! Chris
