I met a gentlemen yesterday afternoon with a garage to die for and he was
genuine and caring and willing to talk to me about his life and all the cars he has owned and the ones he currently owns. I thought I was the only person in Yucaipa to own a Ferrari. This gentlemen who is the grandfather to whom my son is dating his grandaughter has (3) Ferrari's. A Daytona, 308GTB and one that is extremely old that begins with the letter L (I don't want to butcher the name but if I remember it sounded something like Lu........?), apparently he has a standing offer for an outrageous amount of money when ever he wants to sell it to a gentlemen in Los Angeles. I was truly amazed at the other ten or so cars I was looking at. One of the cars was a mint condition 1941 Graham which was the last year they were produced. I want to keep his name private and hopefully talk with him soon to have permission to take pictures and post for all to see. He made my 1992 348 Tb Series Speciale (No. 9 of 100) look meaningless even though I am a proud owner.

I won't forget this afternoon for a long time.

That does sound like quite a garage! I have to second the picture taking idea.

Is the L car a Lusso?!?!

    Sounds right, Lusso---and a 348 is never meaningless--it is a helluva a Ferrari!!

It was a Lusso and it looks great.
It could use a good coat of wax. What does a good looking Lusso run for these days?
