    I agree the value of these models is on the rise, market forces at work....maybe overpriced today, but there will be no more of them!

    Myself, I'd go for the F40LM or F40LM GTE.......Sheehan has one of each f/s.

    Mr. Risi has both F40LM and 288GTo in his collection.......at FoH.

    The $50k service cost is a given - the asking price of the car, sans the correct paperwork is the issue.

    I hope these guys get their price but I doubt it. I know most of the guys in the market for that combo and the opinions I have heard is that the deal is way too rich. Maybe time will help, but I somehow doubt it. The price in Euros is more appealing and maybe a a non-US buyer will emerge.
