This blue only came out last year, so could not be one on that 355 but that is nice also. They had big color swatches at pebble beach this year in the tent with the 599. I remember looking at it there, but wanted to see it in sun light.

I understand the TDF is two dark and hides the lines of the car. In the pictures it looks good but in person.............:(

Please ask them about the DOT Waiver posted in Nerd's post #9 relative to a new 430 CS and get back to us with their response ASAP.

Here is a link to the complete plea for exemption:

    http://dmses.dot.gov/docimages/pdf95/381662_web.pdf

Note that Ferrari confidential information has been redacted.

There might be a chance that Ferrari would try to "tuck-in" a tarted-up F430 Special under the exemption, but there are no public filings of them asking permission and it would be an economic disaster for a load of cars to be stopped at port of entry.

..............Mirabeau Blue. I believe that's the color you're talking about. It was introduced with the 612 (i think). Sorry, don't have any pics of it..............back to Round 6 of the model lineup fight! <Ding!>

Other then going to the dealership. Does any one have a color chart for 2005-2007 ferrari. My dealer told me there was 1 new color for 07 but not sure what that is yet.

It would be nice if Ferrari had a online car builder with all colors and options. Even Bentley has one.

I'm a big fan of TDF on the coupes, but with the Spider's for some reason I prefer red.

My choice would be Rosso Scuderia.

Im not sure what colour this is, but it was on my hard disk and i remembered saving it recently.

I cant remember where i got this from either, but i think it was from another car forum i visit, I dont think its a full list of colours though:

Im not a fan of Scuderia either, I prefer Corsa. TDF Blue would be my second choice (followed by the Darker Grigio, then Black).

There is not much happening in the UK about the 430 CS either, no real news online thats been spotted or from dealers, cant wait to see one when they do appear though.

I would take Rosso Scuderia...Although TDF is also a good choice. But I'd take Rosso Scuderia no doubt about that.

I am getting Rosso Scuderia. I also found out about some new options for 2007.

    1. I POD COnnectivity cable
    2. Alcantara trim for seat inserts, door inserts, back wall, brake lever, and some small areas in the center by the brake release.
    3. Challange wheels ball polish.

I am going to get black leather with all red alcantara trim. Also getting the IPOD but it makes you get either the bluetooth or nav and bluetooth option with it. So I am getting nav. Also getting the following.

    1. Carbon Fiber challange grill.
    2. Front and rear park sensors.
    3. Scuderia brake calipers.
    4. Rear shelf leather and carbon fiber lower area.
    5. Daytona Power seats.
    6. Contrast stitching on leather.
    7. HI FI sound.
    8. Shields.
    9. F1 transmission

I'm not sure how much the iPod connectivity kit is, but if you get the Nav or Bluetooth option the Becker unit comes with a built-in compactflash reader. Throw in a 4GB card for $80, and you can play whatever MP3s you like -- it's pretty darned nice. It makes having to lug around an iPod rather redundant.

There have been a number of very negative reviews on the nav option, but I guess it won't hurt as long as you don't rely on it too often (otherwise I'd advise saving the money and getting a portable unit).

You must be one fast and talented driver if you feel a 360 to be slow.

Even my wife says the car was very slow. She did not even want a F430 becuase she thought it was like a 360. Right now I have a 750 HP FORD GT, so almost every thing feels slow next to that. But I do love the F430. But this car is only until I get the 599 spider. Which should be by the end of this year.
