Good price, sounds too good to be true. I thought all strads were 04s, or maybe that is just US?

I would only do this after it were certified in the US and you could inspect it.
Lots of scam where you send money and the car belongs to someone else. You could sell this car to any dealer for more money than that.

While I tend to think its too good to be true...read scam...
I'm not sure you would be willing to send your "favorite car" across "the pond" with the shipping costs, your baby out of sight, subject to "valet" dock workers, and lastly the buyer's subjective re-evaluation of the price he now offers you, or a return trip paid by ?? Is it worth the complication to buy this way?

NO, I would not pay in advance, yet do you really think he will send the car in advance?

Scammmmmmm! For sure. Just do a search of euro CSs -- which came out in 2003 -- and you'll find most are US$150K minimum in Germany, up to around US $180-200K in the UK. Why wouldn't the car be snapped up by euro buyers?

Scam. The place does not exist in Vienna... Their whole website is just serving the purpose of giving prospective buyers a feeling of authenticity.

If you where still intrested, I would get a car broker that can confirm the Dealer exists. You are looking at a 100k car I guess spending a few extra bucks could make it worth while. Or even fly out there to seal the deal. Worst case senario, dealer does not exist, you can enjoy a couple of days in Europe.

We bought an M3 CSL in germany a couple of years ago like that. Mind you a good friend of mine did all the local research and drove the car for me before we closed the deal.

Good luck if yo do go aheand and buy the car!
To bad Im on a budget the next 6 months if not I would fly out there and buy it ja!

Very fishy. I shopped for a Strad back in April in Europe and the cheapest ones were at 130k Euros , not 85.000 !

I agree with the majority. $105,000 is too good to be true. Even for an EU spec.

If you could, keep us posted on the progress.

    This is completely fake !

    A 2003 stradale for EUR 85000 ?

The very cheapest 2000 modena is EUR 90000 at the dealer's network through Germany and Austria. (I am searching)

The cheapest 360 currently on sale here in Finland, has an asking price of €169k...that's about $200k. A CS would probably cost at least €200k around here. The prices are at a whole different (lower) level in Germany and such, but still €85k sounds totally ridiculous to me. Heck, in Finland a 348 costs like €60k! You can almost get a high-mileage 360 in the States for that money! Ok, I'll stop ranting now.

Rule of thumb that has served me well -- "deals" like that are rarely, if ever, broadcast to the public. Not saying that people have never firesale'd out their cars before, but if they do, it usually happens behind closed doors, among friends, within a dealer network, etc.

That's why 99.9% of the "I have to sell it quick", "here's some inside info", "this is a special deal", etc. deals posted on eBay, Craigslist are scams -- otherwise they wouldn't be posted on a public website!
