Anyone ever run into this problem: I bring my F430 in to the Dealer for a simple lowering 14mm all around. Everthing is going perfect, when they get to the last corner (front right) the collar that turns on the shock to lower or raise it, is frozen solid. Nothing can free it, wrenchs, hammering, eventually they tried a jack chissel which took the treads of the shock off! Long story short, they ordered me a brand new assembly which took a whole month to get here (hazardous substance, gas filled shock), even though the vehicle was statused VOR (vehicle off road) Anyway, the new assembly goes in tomorrow (of course they are flat bedding it both ways) I am running: iForge Classic Brushed Aluminum & Polished Center & Polished Lip 19x9 Front (3 chrome lip) w/ 255/30ZR-19 Pirelli PZero Rosso 19x13 Rear (4 chrome lip) w/ 355/25YR-19 Pirelli PZero Rosso Will post pics when done, those wide rears make it look mean as Hell.
It must have been very frustrating. Sorry to hear that, but glad it's over. Looking forward to seeing the pictures.
Just got my car back today lowered & will post pics with the new wheels & rubber It looks & rides spectacular
Where'd these pics go? I searched your posts after this date, and no luck. Did I overlook? 355 is some MEAT.
Hi All, Yes, it was all covered under warranty. Yes, it really did take them a month. Yes, they definitely had to take the shock assembly out to do it right. I am shooting the pics today & will post them right away, wait till you see it!

Wow, It looks fabulous! Congratulations! Love your rear CF diffuser too, can we have more pictures of that too? Would you be kind to measure what is the new distance between the rim lip and the fender for both front and rear, I understand that stock is about 11cm and 13cm respectively. Thanks in advance.
You don't mention if they compressed the spring...if not, that may have caused the problem. Some of the time, maybe even most of the time, you can move the spring perch without compressing the spring, but sometimes there is no way around it. Most shops I'm familiar with compress the spring in all cases just to make it easier to work with. Gary
I'll take some more later when its out in the sunlight, profiles especially. I'll try to give you a measurement. All I know is there are no clearance problems whatsoever & it's never riden better.
Great! Looks really good. Congrats. I'd really like to see a pictured squared off/straight on from the rear, encompassing the entire width of the car, with an angle/height that puts the rear of the car towards the upper middle of the picture so that you can get a great idea of how wide the rear stance is. Hope that run on makes sense. Kinda like these pics; but not like the angle in the GT & Viper pic. Thanks for sharing! Have fun showing off! WOW. Looks excellent. Big congrats to you. Worth the trouble at the dealer it seems. Thanks for the picture effort. You did great with them. Only a little disappointed that the shadowing didn't provide for as good of a view of the tire width as I hoped. Regardless, they're good shots.
I know, I even used a flash. They are wide as hell, the dealer laughed when they saw them at first. No more chirping the rear wheels between gears though!
Hard to see, but in the last pic you can barely make out the Tubi carbon on top of the engine bay around the glass. I'll have to get a better shot of that area. It really completes the look.
Haha. 355 is indeed WIDE. I wouldn't laugh at them though. Hopefully they weren't that purist type that says you ruined the car, because that's retarted in this case. They look perfect on the car. Miss the chirping? Call Novitec.
It happens. Good call on your part. You're the one with the F430 with 355s. I'll have to see about locking in a deal on Monday and closing it ASAP in order to even be in the game.
