I had a call yesterday, out of the blue from Reg transfers I had a number that i have never used H6 LET - They had a buyer for it so took the deal ! Nice when your not expecting something
The 007 007 plate on the first page would be good for the new Aston DBS. Although something along the lines of DBS 1, V12 007, DBS 007 etc... would also be good choices. What a present to his wife, lol I've seen so many nice number plate, for example RIIIUNED (on the plate, the bit that holds the plate to the car is put between the first two 'I', so it looks like RUINED), 5LR (SLR), A599 GTB (also seen F599 GTB, but that disappeared in no time, was in a magazine). On our F430, we have a normal 06 year plate and the last bit as 'FER', with some spaces bewtween each part, looks quite nice.
I tried to send a PM to GIALLOFLY, but wouldn't take it, and at the moment, only out of interest what my plate might be worth, its currently on a Tickford Racing Puma, and can obviously only be sold to any car from 1999 onwards (limits the number of Tickford cars it can fit ), but I heard rumours of a few thousand, and i'd be interested to see what a pro might think? its T1CKF, it came with the car when I bought it earlier this year - its value has had me wondering for a while now, thanks
Hi I know that my mailbox was full for a while, sorry about that. Your number would retail for about £1800. Any other queries, just drop me a line. Thanks.
A plate is only worth what it means to you-if you have the means. Just like a painting-if you get enjoyment from it and you have the means then do it. If I was David Beckham and earning £50M per year then I dont care about spending a rediculous amount of money on it-if I get enjoyment from it and makes people smile. "you only live ONCE" not twice. The number 8 is the only number which most resembles a B and someone is selling J80 NDB reads as "J BOND B" and alike on that auction site in UK. I have W2 8OSS, D 8ABE and HS 8ABE, UA Z8 007 and VIL3 007 (wink!) Incidently there is a big Con going on at DVLA/treasury as they say you cannot miss-space numberplates whilst they are selling plates which the public are encouraged to do so. e.g V1 LLA will be used as V1LLA (£35K paid by John Gregory ex Villa Boss)
giallofly any chance of doing me a favor. 3-4 weeks ago i bought a number plate pjd 2 for 7499.99 and i put it back straight on the market with the company i bought it from. ive been offered 1100.00 but was wondering what is the plate really worth- i know its only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it but to be honest i want 12500.00 Wanna make at least 5k I have it up for 15k
PJD 2 was first issued in 1959 by West Ham C.B.C, so is more sought after than some of the DVLA auctioned numbers, which have the same three letter & one number format. They are very good initials from a selling point of view, so I think your £12.5k is fairly achieveable. Let me know, if you want me to advertise it for you. Thanks.
giallofly if it doesnt cost me anything to advertise with you , you are more than welcome to advertise it. looking closer to 15k lol lil cheeky but you dont get if you dont ask. but with that 15k im willing to negociate if a potential buyer comes along.
