Who's gonna win ?
Trojans. Even if they're coached by a Carbon McCoy clone, those Fightin' Irish haven't fought anybody their own size in a while.
at the end of the game, ND will change the team name to... Sing with me Webby!!!! THE "NEW AND IMPROVED" NOTRE DAME FIGHT SONG Sissy Sons of Notre Dame, Sing her glory and sound her shame Paint her black and blue, And sneer with voices true, Hah! Hah! for Notre Dame. We will lose in every game Weak of heart and true to her shame. We wish to forget her And we'll cheer her never, Spoils to Notre Dame. CHORUS: Queers Cheer for Notre Dame Wake up the pansies cheering her name, Send the volley cheer on high, another blunder in our eye, what though the odds be great or small Old Notre Dame's the underdog to all, While her loyal boys are prancing Without a victory. Huskers ? WHO DAT ?? I like USC, but they sure do have a lot of injuries, and ND seems to have answered a wake-up call.....
Nope - still sleeping. Actually, it was a closer game than the score indicated. And now we have Oklahoma playing Nebraska next week in the Big 12 title game. Wake me when it's over.
I gotta disagree on that one. The USC D must have had the ND's playbook or something. No rushing game at all. Continually getting stuffed on 4th down. ND's last TD drive only happened because of a false penalty. The USC D just stuffed them...
It was a lot closer than the score indicates, we got stopped how many times in the red zone? Walker's fumble at the 3 and then the failed on-side kick set us back a lot But anyway USC won it well and they played well so congrats to them. Is it certain that they will be in the championship? I really wish Brady Quinn could have gotten the Heisman, he is such a good player and a beautiful man, I'm proud to have breakfasted with him...
You sound like the typical brainwashed ND fan...wake up man! Plus, you're the only person in the world who mentions that the game was close?!?! Better just start praying for ND to get invited for a Michigan re-match...
ND has a good team, but I think USC would beat them if they played again next week, or the week after that, and so on. USC is a better team and the game, in my opinion, was not close. I had big money on this game and I won........ $1 and the looser has to wear a USC cap. I think they will beat UCLA and the fight for #1 will be interesting.
I have photographed college and pro sports, and I've been around a few athletes I would call 'beautiful people', Howie Long is one, he was just an awesome guy to talk with, and then there are the di*kheads - of which there are waaay too many to name. It's sad what fame and fortune can do to some people.
How's that? Whisky said it first. It was 44-24. If we had gotten the touchdown on the 3rd yard line instead of Walker fumbling it and them returning it that would have been 7 more for us, 7 less for them - 37-31. Then minus 7 points for when our onside-kick failed - 30-31. Now assuming that without those they would have had time to get another touchdown that's still 37-31. And anyways I said they won it and played really well, and I agree that they would beat us 4/5 times or more. How's that brainwashed? Whisky, LetsJet, and others.. thanks for being classy unlike most of the di*kheads in this thread...
I just watched an interview with Kirk Herbstreit, ESPN analyst and commentator on ESPN College Gameday. I agree with him on the "plus 1" bowl system for this year. Last year, USC and Texas were the clear-cut two best teams (link for this time last year: http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/abcsports/BCSStandings?week=7). This year, you have 3 teams--USC, Michigan, and Florida, which can all make an argument for a chance at a championship (link http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/BCSStandings?week=7). And I think each deserves a chance for a championship, but there's not enough room for 4 teams in that game. "Plus 1" bowl system is what he thinks would fit well for this year, sort of a mini-playoff. #1 OSU vs #4 Florida. #2 USC vs #3 Michigan. The winners of those games would go on and play in the championship game. Doesn't sound like a bad idea at all...
