I told someone in the Fchat police thread to back off of Rick, he is one of the good guys. Enjoy the meal, and nice car Rick! BT
It's called sun fade red! Aggressive not me? I am not the one whom violates the restroom edic and personal space rules. Remember one per urinal and the line starts WAY back there. It is very important that you remember that. Why do I feel this has something to do with your hair dressing duties? Please don’t make me bring up the party trick you like to do. Your wife must be a saint.
No problem. I guess I have been confusing asking about so many different cars, but I do enjoy exotics and we are thinking about buying an additional car. It will be great to get together some Saturday.
There is some FChat people that come to Paragon every first Saturday of the month and you are more then welcome to come. That looks like fun! Thank you for that info. I've been wondering about where there is a meet like that. Thank you!!
I just went on a road trip over to Gateway yesterday and I have to say that the canyon road which is roughly 44 miles long that is just east of Gateway is nice not in my opinion driving 4 hours from Denver worth it. You could go fast in the canyon, but found out that cows roam free around and on the road so be careful. The museum on the other hand is neat and high class just in the middle on nothing. Here is some pictures of the museum http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=129936
hey you live in FOCO so the best place i've found is east past I25... past highway 14... there are some nice lonely roads were me and my dad take our gallardo!! be extra careful if you're only 16! dont die!!
I'm surprised there's only one mention of Canyon road (boulder). That's one of my favorite roads to drive...if you're stuck behind a slow driver then it's not so fun...but other than that..Canyon road from Boulder to Nederland is a nice twisty, fast-paced, spirited kind of drive. There's also a road that runs from Buena Vista to I-70 (not sure the name or if it's been mentioned) that is really fun as well.
So true! Canyon in definitely a fun run... but it doesn't stop there. There is a freshly paved, absolutely amazing road, about a 15 mile stretch, heading east into Lyons from the west and starting north of Ward... CO-7 or something. One of the best, if not the best, little sprints I've ever done. Here's a route I put together for six or seven of us a few months back, includes the road I'm talking about above. SATURDAY SPRINT - 9/30/2006 - ROUTE 1. Meet in Boulder in the parking lot on the northeast corner of Broadway and Iris 7:45am - 8:00am. 2. Depart meeting point 8:00am. Take Broadway south through Boulder until Canyon (1.4 miles). Turn RIGHT heading WEST on Canyon. 3. Canyon immediately becomes 119. Watch for recreationalists. 4. Follow 119 westbound towards the mountains towards Nederland. (119 Westbound to Nederland: 17 miles) 5. 119 ends in Nederland where it intercepts 72 (also known as the Peak to Peak Highway). Take the traffic circle 180 degrees and continue heading due west. You are now on 72. The road will turn north and then head back east before heading north again. 6. Take 72 (Peak to Peak) North through Ward towards Highway 7. (Approx 22 miles) 7. 72 (Peak to Peak highway) dead ends in 7. 8. Turn RIGHT at 7 heading EAST directly to Lyons. (Approx 15 miles). 9. Once in Lyons, Regroup at our traditional place (subway and bank). Make the right onto one-way Broadway st. heading east, then left heading north for 1 block up to main street, then left again heading west on main street. Alternatively, there may be a cutthrough to the parking lot directly off of Broadway. 10. At this point, people can either head back to Boulder (me) or take 36 Northwest from Lyons to Estes (This is a fun run!). (21 miles) 9/29/2006 - Mike Procopio Here's a pic from Canyon. --Mike Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oooo thats a good one. I took it a few years ago in my Navigator....definately NOT so much fun, those tires were screaming. But its a blast in the Bimmer. I like the road that leads off of Canyon that leads up to Sugarloaf. Its crazy curvy, although I did have to keep an eye out for deer!
