Finance mate was saying a Porsche GT2 and a Ferrari 575 F1 with very low ks have just been repoed and will come on market.GT2 was sold to dealer.
Interesting to read that Amos Classics is having a beanie-induced sellout of their inventoty Here I wondered how they could sell such weird and wonderful cars and make any money at all
well looky what we have here... http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ALFA-ROMEO-MONTREAL-COUPE_W0QQitemZ130052716007QQihZ003QQcategoryZ2030QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Alfa Romeo Montreal! currently at $30k... Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i can imagine the first owner ordering that car at the dealer. babysh!t exterior and black, no make that tan interior please... hahaha
If it's a 70's Alfa, even with tan trim I bet it has black armrests! The 7500 mile 2000GTV I drove a few weeks back was like that. They must have had some colourblind people in the trim fitting section at Arese...
Is anyone from F-chat familiar with the 1998 F355 Berlinetta (yellow) that has been for sale for a long time at Exclusive Cars in Perth, Tasmania? It has 23,000km on the clock but the asking price still seems a little on the high side at $189,990 for what it is. I also thought that anything post 1997 was a 355F1 with the F1 gearbox but this appears to be a stick shift 6spd manual. The pics seem to indicate that it has the CF race seats though, so thats a nice little bonus.
That car ss nice, my g/f loves it. She loves yellow Ferraris. But a little pricey alright for a 1998.
Ahh cool, I'm not the only one that thought that then! I've been thinking about having a look at it for real, even if I am just dreaming.
Are these cars selling for $180K?? I have seen a few for sale for a while now, so I doubt it. Go check out that cheap red 95 355 in Vic. Or get someone to look at it for ya if you want a 355. Is ony $130K. Hell, even I am tempted. I dont know anything about it sorry.
I've always loved Montreal's.I wanted to buy one but coluldn't find a good one so I bought the GT4.A friend if mine found a nice one that had the fuel injection upgraded to a Bosch set up instead of the crap SPICA set up.I test drove it and it went great. It was Red with black leather and he was going to get it for $23K but he chickened out at the last minute. If I had the garage space I would have bought it.
355 F1 shift was always an option, never compulsory... but I don't know what allocation Ferrari sent to Australia.. there are many 6 sp stick shifts around though...
Phil on the topic of Alfa's did you ever find a car that you were looking for in the Alfa genre with the vintage of 1970? Or did you just bring the Boxer over instead?
still open to suggestions on that one... Boxer was already mine so irrelevant to that quest... Dougie Daihatsu is on borrowed time.... I'd quite like a little quirky Italian runabout to replace it... ideally built/registered on either my or my wifes birthdays... 21/04/70 or 12/05/73 I serviced a Montreal AGES ago in UK.. about 1990 ish I think... had the fuel pump re-calibrated too... wasn't a problem, ran beautifully. Nice cars, but too big/slow/cumbersome compared to GT4 etc
where is this car? any links? very good value 360 IMO http://www.carsales.com.au/pls/carsales/!cs_content.private_vehicle?total_rec=40&search_distance=25&selected_model=0&vehicle_id=3668075&state_id=-1¤t_rec=14&search_type=20&used_rec=42&make_id=44&category_id=3
I dont have a link to it sorry. It is in the new Unique Cars magazine, pages 186 and 187. Brents Presitge World, in North Melbourne. A red one. With Challenge seats in it too. Has crappy big chrome wheels on it. He also has 2 360's there among other puss buckets. Bored at work this morning around 3am, I calculated around $4.3million dollars worth of cars he is selling on those 2 pages in Unique Cars. That is a nice 360. They are getting cheaper and cheaper everyday. Wont be long before they crack the $200K I reckon. I should trade in the 348 on one I think. F430 and 599 are a little to expensive for me. Even a 360 is PUSHING it to the max for this bum.
