Hi Alfisti, this picture I took for a photo-shoot for the German magazine OLDTIMER MARKT in 1999 on the long straight of the (old) Hockenheimring. Today this is the only original 33 in Germany. Highly original and bought by a German collector almost 10 years ago out of the showroom of a Alfa-dealer in Rome who had this car as his main attraction for over 25 years! Never driven in that period the car`s mechanic (incl. engine) is now fully restored. This time is an amazing time wharp and you can see every scratch on its body done in the Arese based Factory. Enjoy! (ahhh. almost forgot: the owner of course is one of the happy few that gets the new 8C!!) Ciao! Walter Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have only this link: http://www.*************/Gallery?cmd=viewCarGallery&carID=1932&pgID=1 This car is height only 990mm less the one meter is fantastic
hmmm....interesting: the picture in the 2nd row (far right) and 3rd row (far left) are also taken by me. Its the same car as on the main pohoto posted here! Ciao! Walter
Did you happen to take this picture too Walter? Nice pictures by the way! Image Unavailable, Please Login
No. That`s a different car. "Our" car has -as the only "Stradale"- a front bumper that goes the full width to under the headlamps. Nice pic! Ciao! Walter
the tipo 33 stradale will always be the "only " stradale to me. i honestly was sadened when ferrari came out w/ the stradale as while i do know what stradale means...i could not stand people calling thier 360 cs a stradale...ugh!! the alfa is the only car that should be simply known as the stradale!!
That's 101, originally owned by Henry Wessells, the car sat for many years. Have any Stradales sold recently? I'm curious about a current value.

I made an offer to the owner of the car I shooted (he is a good friend!) of Euro 1.4 Million (something of weaky $ 1.8 Million) - and he denied! But the money was not the issue. He simply doesn`t want to sell! Ciao! Walter
I think the Alfa/Sbarro Diva was a good approach to a new version. Anyhow, for me the 33 Stradale is the most beautiful car of all time. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, the car is a real beauty! BUT: it`s almost undrivable: a. the gearbox when cold is terrible to use. Its rediculous!!! b. even slightly overcast weather brings heat into the cabin due to the window up in the doors!! You are "well done" after some miles! c. the brakes!! A NIGHTMARE!!! d. the clutch!! Arrrgh.... when standing on traffic lights and you have to go!! You need much space in front of you as the clutch bites quite brutish and the car jumps ....! A nightmare (but good on circuits! But this they called "Stradale"!!!!!)!! Then also: the build quality is a nightmare even for the 60ies!! But when you are in and have free traffic -or better on a lonely, curvy mountain road - A REAL DELIGHT!!! But before that it gets you ballistic! Ciao! Walter

the last 3 pictures show the 33 that is owned by Alfa Romeo. Some details are non-original. Ciao! Walter
