Philip, I enjoyed meeting you and your five week old baby (the 430). I hope you can make it on the 9th and meet some of the other members. Sorry to hear about your friends wrecked yellow 360. Hopefully he can get it repaired in short order.
Hey, have you gentlemen had any more thoughts on when and where we would meet? I am out all of next week but definately will cut things short to see you guys. Not trying to rush but trying to get things squared away. Philip, welcome, I think you wil enjoy this group. Pretty low key, and a nice bunch of people. Regards, Drew Altemara
Depends on when you guys want to eat. how about 1:00. that gives us time to meet up and do a little driving before lunch without getting out of bed too early and we still can all get back home before dark.
If you do a morning drive and lunch, I'll come down from Huntsville and join you. If you're doing an afternoon drive and dinner, I can't make it as I have other commitments.
Have you come up with a proposed starting place and time? Seems it ought to be no earlier than 10AM or so to give the Huntsville and Tuscaloosa folks a chance to get over. I'm also hoping it's a day like the last few so I can put the top down!
Hi guys...I've been in North Alabama for close to two years now and have been wanting to check you guys out sometime but have never had a chance to get away from work. I'm in Guntersville so it's just a short drive down for me. No Ferrari yet but I just bought a GSXR-750 I've been wanting to hit the interstate with. Mind if I swing by to take a peak at the cars?
I need a head count estimate. Eight drivers so far so assuming we all bring a guest that will make sixteen. Who is attending alone?
Alright, we are booked with The Standard Bistro for a 1:00 pm private lunch. Also I will possibly be able to get the the "280 Times" to stop by for pictures and story on us and the FCA for their paper. I am putting together a nice little drive route right now and I'll let you guys know once I map it all out. This should be just about perfect for those from out of town since our drive shouldn't be more than an hour. You can sleep in a little. I'll decide the best time to meet once the route is finalized. The Standard Bistro website: http://www.birminghammenus.com/standardbistro/ I estimated a total of 20 or less (I am sure less but it is better safe than sorry)
No pressure, but that winery (Morgan Creek?) made a nice "break point" the last time I was with you for a country drive. I'll also see what I have in my "FCA Door Prize" cache and bring down one or two giveaways.
I just got off the phone with Tommy and we are all to meet at 11:00 in the Sam's parking lot, in Irondale, just like last time.
I-20 to Irondale (Sam's Club parking lot) at 11 AM Central Time. Group Ferrari drive to local Alabama winery and then to lunch over at The Standard Bistro. (somebody correct me please if I botched a detail)
Right. Stay on 65 South to Birmingham. Take the I-20 exit North/East toward Atlanta (but just briefly), exit I-20 onto Kilgore Drive. Sam's Club is at the intersection of I-20 and Kilgore. You'll see a pack of Italian cars waiting for you! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your new 328 mods. Oh, here's our meeting/drive/vineyard/lunch from last year (with pics): http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=135411520#post135411520
