I dont think theres enough options there, maybe you should add 2 more! option 4- on a straight-up swap, sure! I'd take a 355! option 5- No 355 in my future, I'm looking at the 360! CMJ
Nah... I think that the 348 owners are looking for a 360 in the future. Who wants to buy (cosmetically !!) alsmost the same car for so much more money ? Not logical I think.
You have to read between the lines around here mate. The poll is saying to me that nearly 70% would rather keep their 348's!
I thought 348 guys liked a masculine car??? Why would you want a jelly bean?? The 355 is near 360 performance for almost half the cost.....and it looks like a mans car on top of it!! PAP.......you know you want one
Well, that's exactly the case I think, the 355's are also very expensive here. A very nice 348 91/93 goes here about $ 57.000 / 59.000 A very nice 355 95/97 goes here about $ 82.000 / 93.000 A serviced 360 00/01 goes here about $ 145.000 / 155.000 So praise yourself that you live in that cheap oversea country ! The 355 is a very nice car, but a very repairable one. Of course "you have never seen big bills" but ask your dealer and read the forums. For me the 355 is no logical step up. If I could afford it I would go for the 360 as it is a fantastic car to look at and has all the modern gimmicks. Why are you 355 guys so harsh against the 348 people ? I don't see the 328 people act to the 308 owners like that ? When the great 348 wouldn't have been there you car wouldn't even exist.
I am very grateful!!! My 30k mile service was $17k (not exactly small bills) Included clutch, hyperflows, valve guides, pedicure, belts and everything else a 30k consists of. We are all just kidding......there is no animosity between 348/355 they are nearly identical cars. I almost bought a 348 before the 355! The 348 "brotherhood" are a truly fantastic group of guys! I am very happy to be able to share this forum with them !!!!! Long live the "brotherhood"!!! !!!
I just wanted to quote this before you delete it!! I knew one day you would succomb to the power of the 348 Brotherhood! Long live the 348 Brotherhood! Image Unavailable, Please Login
You sly dog rooter!! Editing someone elses quote, for the worst in this case, is a BAN-able offense here in the state of Mount Isa. Dont ever let me catch you here. I will run you of town with my Pa's pitchfork with hillbilly music playing through my IPOD!
Real men drive 12s, not these 355s, or 348s..ROLMAO !!! i love both cars, they both should be enjoyed like a blonde and a brunette. Hey Pap, you ever water you're lawn yet ?
Haha!! YES!!!! I just went outside and took this pic for ya. It is 10.45am here. Water day today. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Here is what the lawn is normally like. And a great pic 348 thrown in for good measure too. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Well for me it's a toss up. I want my 348 but I also want the performance of a 355. Alot of people seem to "forget" that the 355 shares the same basic body as a 348. The 355 is what the 348 should have been from the get-go. Now if I can get the same power out of my 348 as a 355, would I then want a 355? The answer to that question is, NOPE! The sports cars that are coming out these days with straight smack around any 348 or 355 for that matter. Plus you can buy them at a bargain price. The C6 Z06 is just one example of a new car that will put the beat down on just about any car on the road. Then if that isn't enough, slap a supercharger on it for about $6k and you are talking supercar performance. Then we have those pesky Cobra Mustangs. Sorry but I'm sticking with my 348.
