Keeping it "real" with the VCR, lol.

What kind of speakers do you have?

I'll be sure to get some pics of my setup later on.

Here's a few pics from my house. We have a complete Crestron automation system...controls all media, HVAC, security, lighting, pool/spa, etc. Each room has at least a 45" Sharp Aquos LCD (except kitchen and garage which only have 32" Aquos LCDs).

Great room has a 61" DWIN plasma, Meridian G68 Digital Surround Processor, Meridian G98 Reference DVD player, Meridian speakers (5.1 Config), Anthony Gallo Acoustics with custom designed subwoofer.

Master bedroom has a 50" DWIN plasma, 5.1 sound with custom design sub. We have in-wall Crestron panels in each room along with portable panels in the master bedroom and great room. Each room has in-wall speakers and can play any source from the media rack.

The media rack includes the Crestron equipment (including a matrix switcher for sending different source components to any room in the house), Kaleidescape DVD Jukebox (w/ 4TB...yes that is terabytes...of storage...it's the big white box in the pic), 2 Kaleidescape Players, 1 Kaleidescape Ripper, Panasonic 16 source DVR for security cameras (4 remote controlled cameras around perimiter of the house and one in the garage), 2 DirecTV HD receivers w/ Tivo, Richard Gray Powerhouse power conditioner, and a 3 source Sirius satellite radio receiver. And, there's a PC/server stuck in the rack too.

I think we're done with the home media & automation stuff...I want to buy some more cars and other toys!

Yeah, and even a cassette deck! I like the old low-tech stuff (and have lots of old tapes).

    Speakers are Mirage

    Main: OM-9
    Center: OM-C3
    Sub: LF-150
    Side surround: Nanosat Prestige
    Rear surround: OM-RS

Receiver is a Denon AVR-2803. Other components are also Denon, except for the Sony TV, VCR, and SACD changer. Oh, and also a Delphi Sky-Fi XM receiver that used to be in my car.

Projector screens are the way to go :D Kid across the hall is an engineering genius, he has a projector system set up, 10 or 12 little speakers, he programmed his christmas lights to follow music, etc. and all in a dingy little dorm room! I wonder what he has at home

Steve I like your house a lot, looks really modern on the inside
