One of the greatest arcade games ever, and they're finally coming out with a home edition... complete with trackball! Who will give me an amen on Golden Tee?
But what will people do when they can't sue the maker of the game after breaking their hands during drunken games at the pub?????
Just another way to de-socialize America's people. Between PS3, Golden Tee home edition, internet-based businesses and home delivery of groceries, no one will ever have to leave their house.
Track ball system plugs into your television. I was in Sam's Club last week and they had a full sized GT for $2,499.00. Not in the market atm but I think that when I do get around to finishing the basement it will make a great addition.
Love the GT! I remember a few years ago at my old college, some kid actually had one in his dormroom. They are wayy too addictive.
I swore off GT because I got seriously injured from one. I'm dead serious. I was playing an arcade version. Well the ball has screws not too far away from it. The screws hold down the plastic cover. Well I went to tee off and I did a crappy "swing" and my palm hit the screw and ripped off flesh on my palm. It hurt so bad. It bled for quite a long time, was throbbing, and I couldn't write or play guitar for a while. Great game, addicting, needs better graphics, lose the screws on the plastic arcade top.
It *is* a very social game, best played in a dark, dingy pub, with a beer in your non-playing hand. It ranks in the top 3 of games that fit the above criteria. My personal list in order 1. Shuffleboard (the bar version, not the cruise ship deck version) 2. Golden Tee 3. Darts If anyone picks up the home version of GT, please report back about it!
yeah, then we'll stop killing each other! I saw a commercial for the Golden Tee thing. Love that game!! Gotta get one.
