Missed the Tonkin tour but did manage a tour of VRM Sunday. Included are three of the Ferraris there. A 410 SA, a rare 250 Monza (note the 4 barrel Webers), and a very nice SWB. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Vintage Racing Motors in Redmond. They do work for a few noted collectors in the area. The Ferrari club's toured the facility before. There's always something neat to see there.
I believe that 410 SA was formally the late Stan Baker's (of custom made shotguns, fame) and now owned by Ken McBride here in Magnolia...can anyone comfirm that is the car?
No it was not Stan Bakers old car. This one is SN 1423 I believe. The cars that were shown were 90% different than when the NWRFCA was there. Non Ferraris included a Novulari MM winning Alfa Monza (1933 I think), 2 BMW 507s, an Alfa powered 1947 Nardi and a really great Elva Mk2 (one of the first).
When the F-club was there, VRM had the CannonBall Daytona, a Gerhard Berger F1 car, a black 500 Superfast, 275 GTB/C, and a few others.
