...and let me add one more thing:

I just saw the Harmony posting about x-pipes. Having worked with Dan on several projects, I am absolutely sure his are built beautifully and of the highest quality. There are pros and cons of each design, and customer-specific requirements which will guide a buyer toward one or the other x-pipe.

In fact, I have X-OST cross-pipes arriving next week too... so there are lots of plenty of terrific choices in the market now, and 550 owners should spend some time investigating each product and what they might offer for their specific requirements.

You actually need to do a few miles before the CE light will come on if it's going to... something like 50 miles from memory...

    The hyperflows look great...

do they fit nicely with no oxy sensor clearance issues (near the clutch) etc?

I find it sad that just because one can afford a $100K car (in today's prices), that one should also have to pay $3000 for an exhaust like that. I do realize that the market for these upgrades isn't exactly huge, but I'd rather get raped by a midget than cough up $3000 for, at most, a few hundred bucks worth of parts and labor.

That's exactly what I was going to ask. I've been stuck with this problem of having no noise from a 550 tubi fitted to my 575 for over a year now. Nobody really gave me any real assuring suggestion or confirmation about whether or not exhaust system, after market I mean, for 550 will fit and work with 575 okay. I've seen a lot of posts about 550 exhaust but none at all for a 575.

These sets look so fabulously sexy. I really want to know if they will fit 575. I guess they will fit, but would they work to their best and as they were designed to?

The cats will fit, the X pipe wont.
