I tried to buy Pentosin CHF 11S to top up the roof on my 355 spider but was told that it had been superseded by CHF 222 or 202 anyone know if this is correct please ?

I don't know about the supersession, but you should be able to buy the CHF 11s at you local BMW dealer, as it has been used in their load-levelling suspension systems for years.

Everyone I know is using the Pentosin CHF 11S, but as you noted the CHF 202 is their newer product. If you check their website, both product appear to have similar characteristics, and both synthetic. The CHF 11S is still a current product, and sold side by side with CHF 202. Confusing. I am certain that either will be fine. If the 202 is more readily available, I would use it.

I didn't realize it, but makes sense that the BMW, Mercedes and Porsche hydraulic fluids are just relabled Pentosin. ;)
