Many thanks to the organizers and many thanks to Tillman for leading the way for us on the last leg.

To everyone who attended--a big round of applause!!!!! Once again this diverse group of wonderful gathered together to help out the less fortunate children in our area. You guys never fail to amaze me. It was colder than I thought it would be, but none the less we had a great showing. Tillman counted 33 cars at the fire station. We had over 40 people at the restaurant. The toy count was about the same as last year BUT we collected $780.00 in donations!!!!!!. :) So a big THANKS to all of you!

A few pictures and Carolyn will post some later including the infamous "Porta Potty Pumper Truck" that had more than a few of us steamed!

    Hey Guys,

    Jared from RICEKILLER.COM here..

We were in the Buick wagon with all of the expensive cameras, lol.

I wanted to come here to post the link to a PORTION of the pics we took, and let you know that the video is now in post production and well be released around January 2nd, 2007.

We took over 350 pictures, but only about 80 are avaliable to see at this time, I will be posting a link to the gallery in this thread within an hour for you guys to check that out. Also a pic from the cruise is going on the main page of our website.

Very nice meeting you guys, a very classy, mature group of owners. I brought out the supercharged vette and the big turbo supra too if you guys were wondering. The rest of my high end guys are in florida playing with the heffner super cars, but when they get back im sure we would all love to meet up. Everyone of their cars makes over 600 horsepower. :)

You guys did a fantastic job with your cameras - you were behind me for awhile then in front filming back - can't wait to see the video. I had the SLK. Thanks for bringing the Vette and Supra - the Supra had to be the best of all the cars there - quite the set-up.

Can you make it very clear on your site that the wreck's not associated with the Toy Run?

    Thanks

The reports of the demise of the VTTT are greatly exaggerated. Got it out of Norwood's friday, and it is making huge hp in this cool weather. We were not able to split away from our family units for very long saturday morning, so we did our own tollroad/Bush/75 run. It was about 2 hours too late, as traffic was bad, but on our initial tollroad entry, it took him until the top of 4th to get past the P-bug.

Sorry to miss the Toy Run Don. Thanks for all your planning on this event!

That report originated from a friend of mine. He called my cell a little after 9 and told me that he'd just seen a black Diablo with "DRYHOLE" plates racing a PBug on the Tollway. He said the Diablo made a very loud popping noise, and he thought that some engine damage had been done.

I knew when he said black Diablo and silver Porsche who the culprits were! :)

I noticed it as well; my 635 was great fun but $$ to keep on the road.

Belongs to Rafi (Jano's brother), ex Greg B car. It's got a turbo and some other go-fast goodies under the hood.

Looks like a fun run for a great cause. I couldn't make it as I had planned, guests coming in town got in the way.

Thanks Scott. I was disapointed as Norwoods completed the electronic conversion in time. You are right, the car runs MUCH better with the uprgrade. Very noticable improvement. It was running so good I am afraid I would have blown away most of the 308's/328's and at least the blue 348's:).

    Next time.

    Greg
