I would take the exhaust and the rims. That's it.
could have been worse. the front skirt is not necessary side skirts are not doing anything im sure rims are ridiculously huge, probably do not make for better handling rear diffuser is not that great looking or any more functional than OEM exhaust looks a tad oversized the spoiler is downright unnecessary. ferrari didn't feel the urge to put one on, why should they? so basically, the add-ons are a waste in my eyes.
Any car that needs unrealistic low angle photography to make it look good is clearly not a good looking car...! If it looks pants from a viewing person's eye view, then it probably is pants. The stock 599 is just fine!
The whole point of a Ferrari is that the car is already perfect when leaving the Ferrari factory. It does not need to be 'tuned'. Honestly why Ferrari even allows tuning companies to mess around with their car is a mystery to me.
there's no such thing as "perfect"...tastes vary, personalization helps fill voids. ask yourself, why does Ferrari offer so many options for colors, leather combo, stitching, carbon fiber, etc..."standard" cars just don't exist anymore. many would argue that these options, personalizations, shouldn't stop at the Ferrari factory list. also, what you may consider 'ideal' to you today, may not be the case in the future...ex, some of the cars we see as beautiful today, weren't that well received in their days...perceptions shift, tastes vary. me, i'm glad there are tuners out there, i'm especially glad that carrozzeria's are making a come back. thank goodness that people like Mr. Glickenhaus has the courage (and means) to 'tune' one of the most wicked Ferraris ever.
Ferrari did not allow Hamann to do this... notice how all the Ferrari badges have disappeared. Nice rims though, I wouldn't mind those.
Because at least half the people who own a Ferrari will disagree with this and since we live in a free country here at MVP we will continue to mod our 99 360 and the 06 Maserati Coupe while you purists cringe. Wheels are a very popular modification that add personality to the car, sorry I don't want my car looking JUST LIKE THE OTHER 5,000 OTHER ONES. Forgive me if I want to be unique. Exhausts bring out the sound that Ferrari has to muffle because of laws. Some replacement parts are cheaper than OEM parts that fail, see F355 exhaust manifolds, catalytic converters, carbon fiber interior pieces, etc. I'm sorry you feel Ferrari owners should keep paying premium prices for parts that are going to FAIL OVER AND OVER AGAIN. When you can purchase aftermarket solutions that provide increased performance or styling and reliability that the factory cannot provide. Some of us track our cars and the factory brake system is not sufficient enough so we will upgrade to Brembo. Try not to be so ignorant, Ferraris are far from perfect and from your posts I think it's safe to say you don't own one (prove me wrong please) so your opinion is irrelevant because once you do, your opinion will possibly change. Unless you like to call the dealer up and (example) order $5,000 catalytic converters because "tuning" your car with Hyperflows that cost 1/2 the price and increase power because your car is "perfect". Sorry if my post seems aggressive but this is something I spend everyday doing and I find it offensive for you to tell me my job is worthless.
no need to apologize...your line of work is appreciated. personalization--large or small, is ok, and anyone saying it's not, well, i guess that's kinda weird. one of the biggest 'personalization' jobs recently, came out pretty dang amazing (P4/5).
Take away the wing and the silver lip on the rim(keep it all black) and that would be perfect for me.
It doesn't look as special with all the Hamman parts. The wheels are a good design, but are way too big. There is almost no tire!
The car could look good on one picture and bad on the other. I can't really tell whether its pretty or not unless I see it in flesh. Based on the pictures though, I would prefer the looks of the stock one!
