I don't think we have any. My Dino is about as exotic as it gets. One of my neighbors has an M3, but I don't think he knows how to get it out of first gear. Everyone, AND I MEAN EVERYONE, else has some kind of BMW, MB or Volvo and a FREAKIN' mini van or SUV. I had a neighbor with a 911, he traded it in on an MB. We do not have great cars in my neighborhood. Must be because all my neighbors are doctors and lawyers. They all drive status cars, but it's a social status they seek, not car guy status. DM
I think you'd have to ask about the whole city if I were to come up with anything even mildly interesting Oh the pains of living in Poland ;(...
I am lucky enough to live on the Monterey Peninsula, so a short drive through Pebble Beach and Carmel uncovers dozens. Sadly, though, this is the start of the rainy season around here, so most of them go into hiding about now...
I don't live in a neighborhood so none. The only cool cars around where i live is 2 continental gts, a 360 owned by Hines Ward from the pittsburg steelers and a ford gt for sale down the road which will prob never sell b/c they want to much.
In my subdivision of about 2 dozen houses I may be the only gearhead. Toys other than my own consist of a Boxter (with a Tip!), a nice 996 Turbo, a decent Vette and an XK8. Let me put it this way: I'm known as "the guy with all the cars." The daily drivers, on the other hand, include all the usual suspects from Germany plus a mechanized division of SUVs.
I saw a blue F430 and a titanium F360 Spider in Glencoe. Its usually 7series/Sclass/Cayenne and the likes. Too quiet for my taste..
Nothing very "exotic" around me here in NE PA. Some XLR's, Vette's, Porsche's, and some older muscle cars (69 Mustang Mach 1, 72 Charger, 9 Sec blown Nova)
A Vette, Bentley Conti GT, and someone has a chaffeured Maybach. My neighborhood sucks, if you consider the occasional pimped Escalade then you can add a few more.
really? i live in the twin cities, and i've never seen any of those around here, just a few maserati quattroportes, and a bentley gt. theres a CGT in a showroom, but thats all i've seen here in my neighborhood, theres nothing really, just like 10 MB SL's and a bunch of S classes
Slim pickings out here. There is a 348 in town, a red Pantera. There is a guy who I think is a relative of Adam West and he has one of the original batmobiles. Drives it around town when the weather is nice- wears the FULL costume (purple spandex etc). It is actually really cool to see. Chris
Nothing terribly exotic around here. The nicest thing ive seen actually in a garage was a Jaguar E-Type and a white 308. Around town ive seen better. There is a Carrera GT, 2 Lamborghini Gallardos, 3-4 Continental GTs, 4 360s, F430, 3 355s, 1 Murcielago, Esprit, An SLR (was in the showroom, may have sold out of town), 612, 3 M6s, lots of M5s the list goes on. Lets see some pics!
Last summer there were: (2)360, (1)3x8, (1)355. I think some guy down the street has a Countach, only caught a quick glimpse of it once in 4 yrs. And at least 60 vettes; probably more of them than Camrys.
hmmm let me think Ferrari F333 CAV GT40 Diablo SV (a fchat member as well) Ferrari F430 Lamborghini Miura Diablo GT Gallardo X3 (one of them is in my garage ) well that´s the one´s I have seen up close.....I know there is a bunch of ferrari´s/lambo´s/classic alfa´s and other exotics around here. We have a italian car meet here in my town each year and the amount of exotics that show up is simply amazing. And to whoever that old man was last year driving a F333 ferrari wearing a AGIP racing overall....cheers!
Larry Ellison is very much into boating, and has a home near me. I havent seen the front, but have sailed behind it. Nice place. Many times, I've watched him drive off though the neighborhood. He owns a bunch of amazing cars. I have seen him ship his F1 to his place here a few times and drive it out to the highway - its quite a car. lol, his license plate is 'Oracle8'. The cats got the only two Qvale Mangustas ive seen on the western shore, and a Conti GT. Never seen him in an F-Car though... Ive seen an orange Exige driving through my streets, but have no idea who it belongs to. My neighbor has a pre-war RollsRoyce that has been shown at PebbleBeach. Nothing too mind-blowing though. The regular SLs and 911s are all over the place. All the moms drive Cayennes... Eww Boy.... Regards
