Great - that photo can be found linked in the original post of this thread.

Again, it seems that modena did his homework before posting this thread and was sharing new content - if only one picture. I challenge anyone to prove that wrong. Still, that's one additional photo of a car myself and many others have only seen in one other shot. Certainly post-worthy I would think. :)

Normally I am not so anal about the repost game (sometimes it is quite necessary) but I pay very close attention to the Super Ferraris forum and would have definitely noticed that second shot of the blue F50 had it been posted here before.

Now, if people are going to go and attack someone for posting something that isn't a repost at all, it will undoubtedly leave others hesitant to share new things in the future for fear of being chastised. Not cool...

On another forum I participate on, if you want to call something a "repost" you have to provide the link to the original thread, otherwise you have to shut up about it. Could be a good practice to adopt here.

I don't want to be mistaken. As repost, I was talking about the car in itself, not the picture.
I'm not attacking anyone either. It is a discussion forum - not Baghdad.
In the two pics we can see this car beeing serviced in a garage (second pic shows a missing headlight
and what appears to be a mechanic in the back).
To me this car is part of a collection kept in storage and is not driven by its owner.
Judging from the pics, the car haven't license plates. This could means two things, first the car is
not road registred and is a garage queen (wich I believe) or this car could have its plates removed
when it was serviced to keep the best discretion about the owner.
The only questions that comes to my mind are was this a factory color or aftermarket work and is this car
beeing driven from time to time or just sent to the garage once a year or two for maintenance ?
As this car was seen in the past, it's no news to me. That's just what I meant.

A few years ago we've seen this Swiss collection surfacing and beeing auctioned after the owner was
murdered. There was a this metallic gold 275, brown 275 and special 250GT with custom front that
I have heard of but never saw until it was shown to the public before the sale.

I would still appreciate to see more photos, any photos of what could be the nicest F50 out there IMO. The azzuro California one is not longer blue so this is one of a kind that no-one so far can tell us anything about.

While it may be new for some, I don't think anyone on the side of "it's not a repost" is claiming that the car is new or never before seen, just that this image is new.

I wasn't referring to your post with the "attacking" comment.

How would you feel if you came back to check on the thread you created and found posts #4 & #7? Especially when you took the time to show (by linking to an old thread here on FChat) that you knew the car had been seen before? People (again, not you specifically) need to pay a little more attention - possibly going so far as to actually read the thread ;) - before replying with a bunch of silly images for no good reason.

To be totally frank, this whole "repost" and "use the search function" thing is a little lame. Get a life guys!.
I second the motion that if you call "repost" it should be accompanied by a a specific FChat link so that we can see the whole deal as it originated, if we are interested. Otherwise leave it alone. Some of us like to see stuff reposted because we don't spend our frikkin' lives on FChat and we don't read EVERY SINGLE POST when it it happens.

BTW in case you guys have missed it, the whole repost thing is an inside joke. (And a good excuse to have some fun with pictures on the forum.)

Is the colour Tour De France Blu? I'm not sure when the color was introduced, maybe the late 90's?

Anyone know if this was the original color from the factory?
