    Since ages I'm desperately looking for a F1 Ferrari half scale! Any model from the mid-70's till now would be worth considering . Petrol engine or electric, both are intresting. In some old F-magazines I found there used to be several models, but that's really a long time ago!
    Anybody knows where to find such thing?

    I have models that are as large as 2/3 scale, but could easily have something 1/2 scale custom built for you of any car, depending upon your budget. You can see some examples here http://www.collectorstudio.com/largemodels.htm

    I remember seeing something similar to this in Vegas insisde the Venetian I believe. This would have been May of 04. Thinking it was about $75,000 if memory serves? Anyone else recall this?

    yep, saw the same thing in Vegas(it said no pictures please and it was $75,000.00 us dollars)-If it's the store I'm thinking of, they had a 3 foot enzo model in the display window also.

    Mine 500 f2 fits a rear engine, Allegretti "special series" one a front Fiat "Topolino" engine.

    Je l'ai utilisèe comme kart quand j'ètais petit, puis je l'ai montèe à la grue dans notre maison en Italie au 5eme etage, juste à cotè de ma chambre...Les voisins ont cru que c'ètait une vraie!!!

    Hello,
    I know that car. The chassis it's not made of Aluminium, but Steel.
    That's one of the first models with Minarelli Motor. Later models use Piaggio Motor.
    Also wheels are now different with hub made from an Aluminium fusion.
    No more reverse gear, a different more robust chassis, a smaller steering wheel and seat with cream color.
    Actual model without motor is sold by Ferrari Store http://store.ferrari.com/en/product/show/65269
