I know its been talked about 1000 times (I have read a bunch already) but I will post one more time before the big spend... I need new tires on the 355. I would like to have as much tire as possible on the stock rims (245/35/18 ft - 295/35/18 rr?) I would like to have a racey look, in fact would love to put on the challenge slicks (really!) for the street but I know it would not work that well. So the questions are: how wide of tire on front and rear & what is the latest hot set up regarding the actual tire (Per coursa / Mich sport etc) I would love to hear from actual users / owners that have put them on thier own car and driven with them... Thanks for the replies
Dude seriously have ya used the search button???? My car crops up quite a few times in the searches. 295s even with spacers ect ect....
Here is one of the threads: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114440&highlight=spacers
Here are the two I started at the beginning of the year: http://www.thebestemployee.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96676 http://www.thebestemployee.com/forum/showthread.php?t=96792 FYI, I currently have stock size Michelins with 15mm spacers, nothing rubs and the turning circle isn't diminished. I also hear that the 295/35/18s work as well in the rear without rubbing.
These that I have for sale may be what you want: http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariads/showproduct.php?product=1908&sort=1&cat=500&page=1
lance, those tires look nice, does anybody know if 245 40 18's will fit on the front of my 348 with 355 rims? im thinking they might be just a bit to wide
If you want more grip get a stickier tire. I had Pirellis on the car and ditched them for Azenis. Much more grip and reasonable wear. Get those or something similar. It is easier to get new tires frequently than repair the car if you slid off the pavement.
Has anyone seen 245/40 on the front of a 355? Lance has this set for sale that has peaked my interest but i'm not sure about the front tire size... based on what others have said I like the rear package. Any info on the front sizing I would love to hear????
