Birds dig the hairdresser F-car in California PAP.
Plus what better way to hear a 5 valve V-8 at full cry when shifting at 8500 rpm through a tunnel!

Although this is an old thread, I just wanted to share my cup holder solution and best location. I bought a cup holder that looks like the one that sells on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Car-Cupholder-for-Mercedes-Bmw-Porsche-86-87-88-89-00_W0QQitemZ270293274946QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item270293274946&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A727%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318#ebayphotohosting), I covered it with a piece of leather I had laying around in my work room, dyed the leather with the factory tan color for perfect match, filled in the gap in the back on the bottom of the cup holder so it will match the top, used heavy duty Velcro on the back for secured hold.

I have faith in you, you can do it yourself especially with the yellow stitching.

My water or soda bottle fits great between the passenger seat, fire extinguisher and center console. :D

Honestly, I would be concerned about the condensation from a cold drink and hot day. The water dripping down onto the leather and center console area... Maybe a suggestion, put a small rag/papertowel under it to absord the condensation when you use it...
