Congratulations Alex .... you've come a long way since the Testarossa.

Although I had been a Tifosi long before we met (remember our trivia challenges ?), I want to thank you again for inviting me into your Ferrari world. I'll never forget our trips to Willow Springs, Long Beach ....

Where did you dig up that picture? That was 1991 if I recall. Remember what a pig that TR was? It could never keep all four wheels down at the same time. It was blast 'though, and Willow is still a great place to throw a car around.
Thanks for the memory. We've had fun for a long time with these beautiful cars....

May I ask if you have any other cars more typically considered 'daily drivers' or do you drive a Ferrari every day?

I thought you would like that. I was digging through photos with the family last night and came across these. I don't think I've seen these pics since they were developed in '91.

Can't remember if the previous pic was of your car or was it this one?

By the way ... back then, that Pig was the coolest thing on the road ;)

That was my car - the one you're next to. I was pretty sure I never had a bra on the car. The bra car is an earlier TR (probably 1988) with the single wheel hub nut. Mine was a 1990 with the 5 wheel nut configuration.
That was a fun day. It was where I learned to do donuts. That was wild - donuts in a TR!

Turn 9, with the pit wall getting closer every nanosecond was the sphincter tightener.
The donut guy was one of the instructors who wet down the skidpad at the end of session and showed us how to rotate the cars using the handbrake. There were a lot of horrified people there that day when the first Ferrari started spinning around, but by the end of the session there were some some huge smiles all around :)
