    i never see anyone displaying the models on the plastic base they came on. Except the high dollar ones. is that a no no? i sorta like the label saying what it is, especially the race cars. also, it looks like those cases would not accomodate the bases.

    The base will not fit in the case--correct.. I keep the screws, base and box for each model. Just store it up in the garage attic..

    Nice Collection. I'm collecting only Ferrari models now for about 16 Years. I have at the moment about 506 Ferrari modelcars, if anyone is interested I'll try to make any pictures and post them!!

    I just started my collection and bought an F40, F430 spider, 612 scagletti and a 599 GTB fiorano all in red and 1/18 scale. What is the difference with the elite models?

    Figured it has been awhile since I updated my collection--Alot of models have been sold and/or traded. Alot of new ones I have gotten recently. Anyone have anything nice that you think I may be interested in--shoot me a PM... Not the best quality pics because they have to be shrunk to post here...
