Hmmmm. It's getting late, i think we are late even but i don't want to look at my watch now. We are expected for dinner with some friends of mine that she doesn't know yet. She slept all the afternoon, i understand her, we reached home at 6 in the morning, and now she is still sleeping in the passenger's seat of my yellow 550 barchetta. Her nice black dress contrasts with the loosely fit harness and i wonder how she can sleep in this racing seats anyway. I am not tired, and the cool breeze blowing through my shirt keeps all my senses alert. I feel good and surprisingly the shadows cast by the sun on the road make me smile. It's going to be a nice evening. The car is on 4th, on low revs and the exhaust is placidely singing the 12 cylinder tune. I decide to spice up the trip a little bit. The radio blasts now Thirteen Senses' Into the Fire song i'm detuning to 4. Click. I'm on 3rd gear, the engine is now singing on mid revs so i push the gas pedal a little bit, the road seems to move faster now and the wind is blowing stronger. The sudden vraaaap of the 12 cylinder concerto disturbs her sleep. She opens her eyes. - Hmmm honeeeey, where are we? she asks with a very swallen glance. - On the PCH, and i think we are late. - Hmmm... oooh! Honey look how nice the landscape is, do you see how the sun is casting shadows on the road, wait i'll make a video! And she tooks from her bag her cellphone and starts to shoot a vid while i burst in laughs. I feel happy, and this going to be an amazing evening. Enough?
