OK everyone, Lets have some fun. Here are some cheap fixer uppers. I have no relation to any of these, just found them on Craigslist. http://denver.craigslist.org/car/230881423.html This one may not be a fixer upper, but the price may be right for someone in the islands: http://honolulu.craigslist.org/big/car/236294087.html Here's a GT4 pretty cheap, series 1 and BLACK!! http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/car/248304341.html
Doesn't appear to be a fixer but still cheap. http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/7/5/82231675.htm

Ok everybody, I know it's not stock, but that is the only BOXER paint job Mondial I have seen and it looks GREAT. If it checks out, this is a terrific daily driver for the money. best Image Unavailable, Please Login
While we are talking about Boxer paint, here is a sub-20K boxer 308gt/4 at our buds at Gullwing... http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/7/5/82231675.htm Image Unavailable, Please Login
That does look pretty cool, neat way to incorporate the black bumpers.... The GT/4 at Gullwing id be wary of, they have a bad rep.
I agree, the boxer paint style it breaks up the sides into two slimmer areas, makes the car look lower, slimmer.
i was wondering about them. i have called them on several of thier cars and they are jerks on the phone. i moved on. they have had that cheap GT4 for sale for over a year. it was for sale then i had MY GT4 for sale last summer.
That one is a scam. It was listed on craigslist in 20 different parts of the country and when you ask about it, they refer you to a website that is hawking a subscription to a newsletter. Anything affiliated with "readytofix.com" is probably not for real. Birdman

$19,000 for an '82 Mondial 8. I would be willing to take a preliminary look as I am near West Palm Beach. 1982 Ferrari MONDIAL MONDIAL 8 '82 RED 39K mi Great cond, always garage kept, dealer serviced only, 2-dr $19,500. 561-856-0411 Mobile & Web ID 7293672 http://autos.palmbeachpost.com/Autos?tp=PBP_V2&tl=900&temp_type=DETAIL&ad_id=135596734&category=Search&ad_type=LINER,DEALER%20USED,DEALER%20CERTIFIED&property=PBP_V1&search_logic=and&fmake=Ferrari&fmodel=&pmake=FERRARI&pmodel=MONDIAL
$10,000 in service and they didn't change the oil? There was a thread about this car last time it was on e-Bay. The asking price was high, something like $35,000. Consensus was that there was no way this was a 10,000 mile car and had a bunch of parts missing. I wonder how much they have come down. I do covet the parcel shelf, though.
Anybody notice the blue Series I GT4 on FerrariAds? I almost spewed Coca-Cola on my screen when I saw the price - $19k! Then I did a little digging and found that, 1) It's had accident damage to several corners 2) It's original color was Rosso Corsa, not Blue (not that I mind repaints, but it's just one more thing I'd feel obligated to disclose when I sold the car -- IF I were to buy it myself) 3) The dealer says, "Euro Bumpers." Uh...........no. Little things like that are enough to make me suspicious about anything and everything else the dealer would tell me Might be a great car for somebody, but I'm not willing to forego a pretty much "no stories" '79 that needs a little TLC for a "has stories" 75 that probably *also* needs some TLC.
This thread is a good idea but you all know......there really is no such thing as a "cheap 3x8"!! (please don't ask me how I know either!) Signed, The owner of "The Money Sponge"
This seller is smoking crack if he thinks that this car is worth $19K the way it sits.... There are so many issues aside from the engine unknowns...
Scams drive me nuts. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1980-Ferrari-308-Gtsi-Buy-it-now-8500_W0QQitemZ270078712321QQihZ017QQcategoryZ6212QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
