Looks to be another kitcar, I guess it was a matter of time.

Probably a kit car, but why would the guy have more than one of certain parts, ie front nose cone area and rear bumper? Moldings? It looks pretty accurate, I've seen unorganized pictures like these from the factory.

I thought it were real pictures from Maranello. I have seen these picture a year ago at F-chat.

The reason I think it's real, because at the second picture you can also see the rear end of the Maserati MC12 and if it is a replica it must have been discussed at F-chat because these pictures are at least 1 year old.

Does anyone know for sure where and what this is? Could it be an Enzo being converted to an FXX look-alike?

Do you have a link? I would like to know where and what this is. I do believe that an FXX's body is carbon fiber, this looks like some sort of glasswork.

I think it authentic. In the second pic, in the background on the right, there's a rearbodypanel that is slightly different from the actual FXX-panel. The exhaust-hole is slightly bent forward. On the actual car, it is straight up.

Perhaps what we see is a mock-up of the body for windtunnel study.

The shop is a bit too messy and unorganized to be Ferrari factory.

I second this. Shouldn't an FXX be carbon fiber?? The windtunnel study may make sense...

FXX is not a factory programme, it's a racing programme. As such, it ain't pretty. Or at least that's what I'm led to believe!

I'm going to guess it's real, but not CF.... like an earlier posted suggested, maybe an Aero study?

I've seen these pics before. About a year ago. I believe it was on SC.net

The paint on the body is probably just a primer. But i can't believe what a mess it is.
I paint cars for a living too, but i've never seen such a mess in a paint shop

These are the other two pics from that photoset - use them to form your own conclusions. I'm rather certain this is not a replica of any kind though.

Incidentally, these 4 pics date back to 10/21/2005 on my PC - just a few months after the first official FXX photos were unveiled.

That's a common color primer. Has nothing to do with what's underneith.

Well, the carbon fiber man said it, that's good enough for me.
I assumed that they use primer when painting carbon fiber but I wasn't sure.
