I'm planning a bachelor party for my best friend and I contacted the MGM and got a quote on a 3 bedroom SKYLOFT for right under 10K a night w/out tax. Has anyone had any experience with these rooms? It's my best friend's bachelor party and me and another friend decided this was the best experience in Vegas for the money. We also need a room for a party with about 20 guys and some dancers. We would not all be sleeping in the room just 3 of us.MGM told me they would have Maybach 62's to pick us up at the airport shuttle us around Vegas when they're available which according to the personal concierge we would get is almost always. So basically thursday night its about 7K then 10K friday and 10K sat.....I know this sounds outrageous to most, but in terms of Vegas, is this the best bachelor party experience without going way over the top? We have to finalize and make a deposit by friday to make sure it's ready by April 19. If anyone knows anything similar ie car + penthouse+ personal concierge which equals guaranteed VIP access everywhere for less money in Vegas I'd love to hear. Thanks again

What are the ages of the people in your party? The best place to have a bachelor party are the new Bachelor suites in the Palms... they have stripper poles right in the room. Would you guys want to be in the room for the party, or out at a club and just have a room to crash in?

I frequent the Vegas nightlife, so send me a PM if you have any questions.

we're all 24 or 25 years old, most are single. My parents recently stayed in a skyloft and my dad loved the maybach everywhere. Usually I stay at the Wynn and they give us a Bentley with a driver but I do not really like the salon suites there. I thought about a suite at the palms, but we hate its location, we want something on the strip. Albeit the MGM isn't really hip or right in the middle of the strip like The Venetian, I really liked the 1 bedroom skyloft pics my parents showed me. What do you recommend on the strip as far as penthouse experience? A car would be tremendous, we don't really want to take our buddy around in a limo or taxi that's just too boring. Do any hotels do Phantoms? That's his favorite car and I'd love to get one, we were thinking of renting him one

I think the Wynn has some Phantoms for high rollers. However if you want to just pay to rent a car and driver by the night, the company CLS http://clsnevada.com/vehicles/index.asp has Maybachs and most any kind of limo/hummer/bus you can think of, their cars look great and I see them all over.

As far as being right on the strip it depends on what you guys want to do. If you want to just party in the room, then maybe go to a nightclub or stripclub later then the Palms would be great. Unless you want to walk places than being on the strip really isn't that big of a deal, especially if you have limos lined up. If you guys are in your 20's than I deferentially recommend the Palms or the Hard Rock. The Wynn/Bellagio/Venetian ect. are more of an older crowd (40's 50's 60's), and the 20 somethings people from LA and elsewhere that have lots of cash to blow usually stay at the Palms or Hard Rock.

I've been in suites in the Bellagio and Wynn with my parents... and they are really nothing special, unless you get a Villa, which are unbelievable.

But in the Palms, a cool room + going up to Moon Nightclub/Playboy Club would be a really fun night. Also in the Hard Rock, they have that huge suite with the bowling ally in it and the nightclub there, Body English is fun too.

Also, if you guys plan on gambling any significant amount (more than a couple grand or so), then I know some casino hosts around town that can really set you up nice.

we're definately going to gamble my dad has a host that usually sets him up at the Venetian but what is the Villa at the Wynn? Last time I stayed at the wynn with my girlfriend we got a salon suite and a Bentley with the credit line we set up but no offer of any villa? If you had any pics/prices that would be tremendous. Thanks you've been a big help.

Most people never hear about Villa's, they don't advertise them they might not be available to anyone other than big time high rollers. The only one I have been in was in the Bellagio. It's down on the bottom floor, and it was a 6,000 square foot, 3 bedroom room (although it's more like a house). It had it's own private backyard with pool and jacuzzi that was covered by an awning so that people in the rooms above couldn't look down. In there was also a dining room with full kitchen and there were several butlers and personal chefs there. To go in and out there are private hallways and elevators that will take you right to a limo without having to walk through any public areas. When I was there, we went down deep underground to the limo, and before we got to the street we went through two security tunnels... it was like leaving from the batcave.

I believe the Bellagio has 9 Villa's (the 6,000sqrft one we were in was the biggest). I know the Wynn has some also, but I've never been. Not sure about anywhere else. It's a different experience than being in a penthouse... they are more for celebrity's and other people that want to avoid the public eye.

For your party though, Skylofts, THE Hotel, Palms, Hard Rock, Wynn... it's really tough to go wrong, there are so many amazing suites in Vegas. If it were my party though, I'd be in one of the Palms suits with some strippers, then go hang out up at Moon and Playboy Club upstairs.

Haha I really appreciate your input. I actually just checked out the palms website and the sky villa is about the same price 10K but it only has 2 bedrooms instead of 3 so I don't know I'm going to call and look into it tomorrow. It also doesn't say anything about a car and with the Palms way of the strip I'm skeptical. Thanks for everything and who knows I'll probably run into you somewhere around town in April, you seem to be in all the good spots.

Don't worry about the Palms being off the strip, getting a limo/car is no big deal at all and the view from there is amazing.

Haha, ya it's tough finishing school out here :eek::p

Also one last question what do we need to do to ensqure access to all the hot spots without waiting. Last time I was in Vegas, it was a zoo in the summer. I couldn't even get 8 people into Pure with a black amex. They said 4 max. I yelled at amex on the phone because it's ridiculous to pay the so much every year and not get the service they promise. The SkyVilla concierge claims to be able to get VIP access but is that true?

At the clubs everyone thinks they have "VIP" access and it makes it all just a mess. There are hosts that you can pay that know the doormen enough to get you straight in... but on a busy night you will even struggle with that, and it's usually just a headache and a waste of money anyway.

The best thing to do is to get a table, and show up early. If you show up to Pure on a Saturday night at midnight, even if you are spending $6000 on bottles at a table you are still going to wait and fight your way to get to the doorman.

The secret trick to the clubs is that there is never a line or wait at the re-entry line... so if you show up at 10:00, go in and get your hand stamped, you can leave to go gamble and do whatever, and then you can come back whenever you want and walk straight in with no hassle.

Yes, I lived in Houston for 18 years, my whole family moved to San Diego right after I graduated high school. Do you know Jonathan Sloan or his dad Lane Sloan? They used to live right on River Oaks Blvd. When you're in Vegas, PM me and we'll meet up for a drink.

Nope sorry I don't know them. My parents used to live in River Oaks and then when I went off to college they decided there was no need for a home that size so they moved to West U and got a pretty decent sized home which my dad still deemed to big for just him and my mom. Now we both have deposits for condos in the new 2727 kirby building when its completed next year. Its right in the middle of river oaks, I don't know how long it's been since you've been to houston, but the galleria area is turning into manhattan. There are skyrises popping up left and right and the prices are nuts considering $1 milllion still buys a very big home in Houston. I will pm you when I'm in vegas, but I doubt I'll have any free time with about 18 guys total going and my gf dropping in from LA to see me probably one of the days, but I'd definately see what I can do you've been a big help.

Las Vegas Hilton Sky Villa man... 16,000 Sq Ft. old fashioned Vegas with way over the top decor. Best suite ever. Hilton Casino sucks though. The Palms or the Hard Rock sounds like the best bet for your situation.
