Paul, your 308 is a museum piece. Hands down the most thorough resto of a 308 I have ever seen... I can't wait to see the pics when it is finished...

I would have to think that there is upward pressure on 308 prices... They are a big bang for the buck right now...

Interesting turn of events for the pathological one. Some of us were flamed on for calling him on his proclivity for exaggeration early in this thread. No surprise here! This clown has a history of playing people for fools. I would be amazed if this troll ever appears on F-cat again?

I don't think that 35K for the right 74K miles car can be a bad thing. 74,000 miles on a well maintained 308 isn't ****.

And I would like to again say, "well maintained"

Well I guess I'll put another 20k miles on my car this summer and I should be able to get 39,500 for it by fall.

I was just thinking, this is pretty rude talking about our cars. This thread is about Matts factory restored 308. Maybe we should keep on topic. I see the GTB is listed on E-bay. Matt must be very disappointed that his car will not be arriving soon.

Ya'll could give Matt the benefit of doubt. He really sent the car off to Italy, but when the Factory rep seen it, figured because Matt was gonna be the first customer, they would just build him a brand new 308 from the ground up. So they just put his car up on eBay, and will funnel the proceeds back into Matts restoration. They wanted Matt to be so surprised, they gave him a free 5 week all expenses paid Carribean cruise, and told them they will take care of everything. So he dont even know this Mario guy has his car for sale. I think someone said that Matts new car will be cast in the upcoming Magnum PI movie, because Ferrari wants Matt to have more than "just another new 308", they want him to have celebrity status. In addition Ferrari will be flying Matt, along with his car, on a whilwind international tour so everyone will be able to meet Matt and his car and get signed autographed pictures. Disney is talking of a movie with Pixar, in a spinoff of "Cars" that will feature simulated characters of Matt and his 308. Matt-ell is getting the contract for a line of toys.

I will be spending the next few months restoring several thousand acres of Arizona desert land back into native desert land.

I'm sorry, but Matt is not authorized by The Factory to represent Ferrari..

ONLY confirmed REAL people who have put their cars in the Factory website to confirm original paint codes, may do so...

They send you a Enzo Edition purple Sharpie, along with the OEM RayBan Wayfarers and a F1 crew shirt.........THEN you truly represent the Firm.....

    Others are mere pretenders.......;)

I could loan out the glasses and the purple Sharpie....to any interested parties, but the shirt is an XL and is currently at the Cleaners......

Where of course, they will give it a 100% cleaning and restoration.......;)

..."and remember to always wear your safety helments, boys and girls...as early head injuries can lead to twisted and deviant behavior, later in life...."

In my personal case, I fell thru the safety chains on the Zoo Tour Train at age three....'CRACK!' went my skull.......ROTFLMAO!

You can still see it..on x-rays......
