Please don't flame me. I tried to use the search function as I assume this has been asked before. I just don't want to spend too much time searching because I'm at work now.

Anyway, I have a friend who is considering buying a Testarossa. The car he is looking at probably needs a 30k service based on age. My friend is very mechanically inclined so if the job isn't too difficult he will probably opt to tackle it himself. What are the basic items that get adjusted/replaced/etc in a 30k. If it was a 328 I could tell him but I'm not too familiar with TR service. If there are any links to this answer I'd appreciate those as well. Thanks in advance guys.

I don't know the answer, but I would recommend to have him call his local Ferrari mechanic.

What I'm looking for here basically is a list of items that are checked/replaced/adjusted/etc. at this interval.

    example:
    cambelts and tensioners replaced
    plugs, extenders, and wires,
    etc
    etc

    - lube the acc cable (much better to blow in the lube at the engine end than at the pedal end - although I'd do both)
    - replace all of the water tube hose couplings (unless they are very fresh)
    - I'd also replace the heater hoses if they've never been replaced (don't swap them -- getting the flow direction right is very important for the hot water valve to work correctly)
