Congrats, and enjoy the ride!
I like to tweak my cars. I look at the 3x8's and there's not alot to do over there to bring them into the current class of performance. Sure u can SC or TC them, upgrade the suspension and wheels, but the design is kind of dated. Personally, I think they are just best left alone as they mature into a classic. A 355 to me is just plain scary as a base for hot rodding. But the 348 is just right. It's got all sorts of potential and is fairly bullet proof. It lacks the ponies, but we are working on that. Luckily, it's supercar potential is pretty decent and once tapped, gets u close to today's cars. It's got width/stance, balance, can take much larger tires, is pretty light, is not nearly as complex as the 355/360 series and, thus, can take a whole lot more tweaking. I can't say enough about them - I just love these cars.
Yup, he bought my car. I'm sure glad the deal is done and the insurance is in his name now................Had a problem with a deer and a telephone pole yesterady. I'm sure I can get a shop to fix it like new before he picks it up on 1/28! Image Unavailable, Please Login
LOL! Nice try - you should have put in a picture of a 348 with a painted bottom to make it more believable
Either way my heart skipped beat, maybe ten. I probably lost a few years off my life. I owe you one when I get there!! LOL... JL
ha ha - you made me scan all your postings to see if I missed something. A little venison for dinner?
Hello Jeremy, good to see you here again & congrats on the 348. Don't mind Peter S., that's his way of having fun. I hope all is well with you & Amy. It's been awhile since we last spoke. Will
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cound not resist that post! OK, you can throw rocks at me when you ome to the falls!
JL drove up to Hooterville with his lovely wife and picked up my (well, his now!) 348. Kinda sad to see the car go. The process of selling your Ferrari does not hit you until you see it driven away by somebody else! Oh well, I'll start shopping for another 308 in the Spring!
