    Hello people

I just wanted to thank you all for all the help I got here with the little 348 issues. As you know I own(ed) a 1993 tb (#96005).
I had a lot of fun with the car and had no special issues that couldn't been solved easily. Apart from the airco (never worked after 2 weeks of my ownership) I was very happy with the car. But hell, I live in The Netherlands and not in Las Vegas.

The roadholding was poor but with the 25mm spacers at the rear it improved a lot. I can recommend to everybody. But high speed stability might not be an issue in the US. Here it is of course.

I got the same price back for my car as I bought it for 2 years ago.
But it needs an engine out now, belts last time in oct. 2002.

I bought last month a red 2000 360modena with normal shifter, my dream car since it came out like 7 years ago. At the dealer with 25.200km. First owner.

Please remember to give me a sign when someone bashes the 348 again, I will jump on him :)

The very last pic of my 348 when I changed the keys:

    Congrats Henkie!!!

I am planning to do the same by Summer. Actually I am planning for exactly a 2000 360 Modena normal shifter, red, tan. Please let me know your thoughts after driving the 360, as opposed to the 348. I love my 348 but my upgrade plans are to skip the 355 and go for the 360.

    Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Dean

Henkie, you prick. How could you abandon "the brotherhood"?

    I'm extremely jealous.

Maybe wifey will get her head out of her arse and come to her senses to allocate the funds for a 360 or 430 for my birthday coming up soon, eh?

    Henkie,

Best of luck with the 360, I did see that you were talking about changing the 348 in the Europe section.

Just remember a lot of 360`s have also gone into the bushes backwards!!

    Regards,
    Phil.

That's a better word for it.

Hey Henkie, did you inform the new owner about F-Chat, and the Brotherhood?

Thanks for all your friendly words, the force is strong.... with the brotherhood :)

The car is at the dealer's now. It is on their site as you can see in the last pic. They have already an interested guy.

The 348 is a great car, the lines and shape are awesome, but we may not deny that 10 years of development is HUGE !
But... for that you pay the price, in fact just a bit more that the double in my case. The 360 is better in everything, but when you don't have the money then the (very undervalued) 348 is a great and beautiful car.

For me the 355 was not a logical upgrade. Although it is much faster and probably better in some areas than the 348, the looks are the same.
And as GOOD 355's are also expensive here I wanted to go for the newer model. I sold all the kids' toys on Ebay and my wife lives in a camper now, but hey, I've got a 360 :)

I could not resist to post a pic of my car at the dealers at the day I collected it, although there are 1000's of 360 pics here. Now wait for spring, it's freezing here now !
