Lets face it, the 308 is so beautiful that it looks good in any color.

Sliver shows dirt?..... quite the contrary... it hides it quite well. To each his own I guess... I went out of my way to NOT buy a red/tan 308.

I'll ask again. Who are you guys speaking with to find out how many of a specific color were made?

I'll have to agree. In my scuderia I have 2 black cars and one silver car. The silver one doesn't even sleep in a garage and it looks pretty good most of the time. The black ones need wiping down after sitting inside under a car cover. Drives me crazy.

Yep. Light colors are best at not showing dirt. Silver is good, even white is surprisingly good. Dark colors are the worst. But nothing looks better than my black 308 on those rare occasions when it’s clean.

Aw Clyde, I'm hurt :( (Just kidding -- and your Cara is LOVELY.)

    +1. But hey, I'm biased :D

Well, almost any color, but yes, good point Birdman.

I exchanged messages with another black metallic 328 owner who I "met" on another board (Edmunds, believe it or not). He apparently contacted Ferrari and was able to get the info that way.

His car has the full leather interior option, and as a black metallic 328 thus ordered it seems to be unique.

Very interesting! I'll try contacting FNA and seeing if they can tell me.

I found out from Mitch (4re308) a few years back. He found out by calling someone at FNA (our cars are the same color - see the side by side pics on page one of this thread). I never actually spoke with anyone up there myself. They did send me a nice letter with cool personal info on my car from the factory.

I don't know many times I just stood and stared at my car today after cleaning it. The neighbors probably think I'm a little strange :D

Very nice car, the red one.

The white/black boxer paint car, if I were golfing near by, watch out!

    Jeff

PS-I like silver as well, also white. Cops can't spot you and dirt doesn't show as well.
