A bit embarrassing to be putting this on, but if any of you want a cheap & reliable classic workhorse this could be it! It's a 1967 Triumph 2000 Estate MK1 with a 2.5 MK2 PI motor but running on carbs, 3 speed auto, rear seat belts, tow hitch & huge interior space! It's MOT'd to January 2008 and taxed (exempt). It had a new steering rack, rear shocks, discs and pads for the MOT. It's pretty scruffy but very, VERY solid. The interior is scruffy as well (thanks to kids & dog !!!). Other than a very rattly exhaust (loose internal baffle on rear box) it is totally reliable. It could do with a good going through - there is a tiny water leak from the bottom rad hose and the diff leaks oil, but I wouldn't hesitate driving this car anywhere. I thought I'll never post this but unfortunately here it is: car will go SOR in bit more than week (of course higher price) so if you are very quick you can pick it up cheaper of if you know anybody who is looking 348: LHD 1993 348 TS (targa) -rosso corsa/ nero leather & carpets -all colour coded, front battery model with ALL upgrades!!!!! -79000km = 49.5k miles -imported 1997 from Germany, NOT middle east car -I have put enormous amount of time to keep it as good as possible condition -extras e.g. Hill alloy pedals, Momo steering wheel, K&N filter, all original parts also included, car cover and propably many more that I just forgot to put here -Cambelted and BIG service jun05, last year all fluids, Porterfield brake pads -has been extremely reliable, only thing had gone "broken" was clutch release bearing that was changed sep05 Will be serviced of purchase and that includes in price!!!!!! I would keep this car if I had any change but thanks to living in central London owning 2 Ferraris is next to impossibe Somebody who buys this will get real bargain, good 348's are becoming rare and unfortunately people see prices of dogs and make assumption what all 348 are worth.
