Who knows what else? Well, we'll just keep that a secret for now.

    Owning two vineyards isn't cool.
However owning all the wine you can MAKE from the vineyard.....WOO HOO !!
Actually it is drinking all the wine that is fun.....(big grin)

Back in - I believe, as I didn't write down the date - around 2000, this car was advertised by: Great Southern Classic Cars in Georgia and had claimed it was an ex-Elvis Presley car...

...Fast forward to Dec. 2004 and this car appeared on eBay, which the seller stated he had puchased it from the above establishment, but later stated in his auction description in reference to that Elvis ownership claim: "...let's not go there..." (leads one to believe Elvis never owned this car?). At the time of the auction it was located in Freeport, NY with 45,800mi on the odo. Auction photos showed torn seat leather, Superman floormats, full-width multi-panel rear view mirror, air-box missing, Dino wheels w. hub caps.

The Elvis GT4 was a black car. It is a 1975 series 1 car #10074 sold to Elvis in 1976.

I work 20 minutes away if anyone is serious. I could take pictures and give you a description of the body and interior, but can't give you any mechanical insight.

    Right, Pippo..

NART logos should be the fender shields of any red blooded American owner, as tribute to Mr. Chinetti, the importer in New York...........so few know this they slap on the Italian ones, only 'correct' for the actual Factory cars.....

You can get them (flat only) at Black Bart's......

I thought Elvis' car was still at Graceland, with his planes.......don't start either one! You know how auctions are, "like Elvis'" becomes "was Elvis'" after a few flips.........

I know I'll probably get flamed for this, but in the spirit of the whole 70's car, Elvis Presley ownership "thing" -- I really like those wire wheels with the knock-offs!

Thank you everybody at FerrariChat , with all this talk about my car, somebody came to look at it on Sunday and i got to take a excellent 2 hour ride. The guy seemed interested, the car runs Excellent and of course we went a hundred miles a hour a couple of times but never went all out.A lot of people can sing but theres only one King, well i never believed it was Elvis`s car, but i liked the color combo, and bought it fom hemmings motor news,i only saw pictures of it ,yeah i like to live dangerously, i don`t think purchases like that are a good idea, the stress factor is really high, but i had to have it.! the car loves me and has been a great car . My wife hates it and has never even sat in it, is that great! I would recomend these cars to anybody,it was driven almost everyday for a year taking the kid to school, people flip out when they see it, even Sunday people were all smiles when we pulled up.Lots of work i did to keep it ready for the turn of the key at any time., and i advertise it now and then only because thats what i do with everything i own,i am just a poor boat yard laborer.

    Eric,
Welcome to FChat. I was tired of one particular guy bashing your car, but generally there are great people on Screamandfly, I've met a lot of them at the boat races. There are great people here too as you can plainly see above.

If this helps you sell your car don't forget my commission. I won't need much, maybe just some Mercury parts, like possibly a 2.5 drop on powerhead would be ok!

BTW, tell us about your Indy car that is listed in your profile.

    Bill

Thanks SMS for the hookup, i have allready learned a few things that i can put to use, also i have to thank the mysterious Baron for posting some interesting info. When you insult Ferrari, you insult us all, I would put my GT4 up against any car out there, might not allways win, but i will never back down, must be the Superman floor mat.I really don`t know why this cars such a freak.,must be the Lucas top cylinder lube. lets see., a 2.5 drop on, thats a hard one, we will have to keep in touch. I have a 2 litre F1 on my champboat now, its a little down on hp compared to the 2.5 ,but it has no rpm limit on it , we will have to see how it compares. The G-Force is something i never thought would be possible, but i usally set my goals high. Its something i am sure all Ferrari owners want to do, drive a Champcar or a F1 car. I have to build a gearbox, get a Aurora engine and some shocks, Rome was not built in a day, so some patience is required, also i am in Debt up to my eyeballs but its all in good fun. A new indy league is going to form, you will see, i will keep you posted and thanks again.
