It's been a couple of years, but we're doing it again! We've got a date for the Barber Motorsports track -- Saturday, Feb 24. For those who want to make it a 2-day event, you can carrry over on Sunday also.

You may have seen events there, but we don't often get the chance to drive it because the track rental rate is so high. We're running a joint event with the RPM Autosport Group for a day at the track -- we were with them there in 2004 and 2005. Novices are welcome and there will be a special "lead-follow" time to introduce them to the track.

You can get pictures, track info, and a turn-by-turn drive guide at
    www.trackpedia.com/wiki/Barber_Motorsports_Park

We have just 25 *discounted* slots available, with fees pretty much the same as when we did it in 2005:

$395 for FCA members bringing a Ferrari or Maserati
$435 for FCA members bringing some other sports car
    $450 for non-FCA members

$20 for each extra driver, passenger or guest pass

Sunday fee is $450 per car regardless of membership or type of car

Count me in! Is it a separate charge for Sunday (IE: around $850 Total), or does the $395 (for members in Ferrari) cover both days?

Sunday is $450 for anyone/everyone... no deals there, unfortunately.

    I suggest you sign-up online at www.TradeTutor.com/fca
As long as that page is accepting input, we've still got spaces left; when they're gone, I'll modify that webpage.

Special thanks to FERRARI OF ATLANTA for helping us subsidize this event so that FCA members get to come to this event at a discount!

SORRY... THE EVENT IS CANCELLED BECAUSE RPM AUTOSPORT, THE OTHER GROUP THAT WE WERE SPLITTING TRACK FEES WITH, HAS BACKED OUT. THERE'S NO WAY WE CAN MEET THE $15,000 IN FEES FOR THE DAY WITH JUST THE FERRARI FOLK...

Good idea. At least I won't have to buy new tires for the street.

    Same day?

Same day is ok. How about two drives the birmingham bunch can take a drive north bound and the huntsville bunch can take a drive south bound and we can meet in the middle some were for lunch. This could make for a bigger gathering. And no one will have to leave realy early.
