Ferrari Days @ LRP 2007?

Sorry if this has alrady been discussed. I did a SEARCH for "lime rock" and did not see anything on point.

I was on the LRP website and did not see a date for Ferrari Days.

Is it not happening this year?

The classic challenge schedule for this year (provisional) does not include LRP...

January 25-26 Cavallino Classic

April 13-15, 2007 Infineon Raceway, CA
Includes F430 Challenge, F1 Clienti and FXX Program

May 18- 20, 2007 Virginia International Raceway
Includes F430 Challenge

June 15-17, 2007 Mont-Tremblant, Quebec
Includes F430 Challenge

August 10-12, 2007 California Speedway, Fontana, CA
Includes F430 Challenge

August 16 -17, 2007 Laguna Seca, Monterey, CA

 

Was the 2006 event July 21-22? Those are the dates I wrote down before LRP put up a new website. The 22nd is a Sunday this year so it probably IS last year's date.

 

I spoke to people at LRP who told me Skip wants Ferrari days to be an important day at LRP

It brings in a lot of people so its a good moneymaker for LRP

I believe the FCA day will be Ferrari Days w or w/o the Challenge

 

Yes, we must have Ferrari days at LRP!!! When I purchased my 355 this winter there were 2 events in mind to take it to - the Hartford Concorso and the LRP Ferrari days!

 

yes my dad emailed lrp and they said the historical ferraris wont be their just the fca

 

Shhhhh.... Things are being negotiated. Don't make any plans for July 20-21. Or for Aug 29-Sep 2, for that matter.

I am new here and just want to say hello first. Great site. Great info ..etc.

Quick question; when was the last time the challenge series had a race at LRP? I remember that they have raced there in the past. Too bad for this year. Looks like a road trip is in order to go see challenge races!

racerXF1 - welcome. The full 360 (now 430) challenge was last at LRP 2 years ago. Last year was just the classic challenge, and this year, as you can see from this thread, maybe just us FCA guys. Suits me - a whole weekend of track time Go to www.ferrarichallenge.com for the schedules.
