    Can the battery be connected while using a tender on it? Or are you supposed to disconnect the battery from the car and then run it?

    Yes, the battery can be connected as per normal in the car when you attach a 'battery tender' to it. No need to disconnect the battery from the car.

    You basically install included connectors to your battery posts. These come together at a quick-connect which is where you plug the tender.

    The tender i have also comes with standard battery charger spring loaded clips. Just clip it on when the car is not in use.
