I think 'Paris Hilton' as a brand, welcomes any rubbishing, criticism or exploitation of info on her supposedly private life. Just listen to the teenagers who idolise her, those that hate her but can't get enough of her and those that couldn't care less but cannot afford not to care due to peer pressures. I think deep down they all see her as a roll model to 'stick it to the man'.

Surely one of her positioning is to attract teens by acting like a rebel to the traditional image of what's classy and 'hot'. So, I do think she cares about other peoples reaction, but she looks and hopes for controversy.

Then again, I could just be too full-o-s**t after one too many glasses of wine
