Just wanted to know if anyone is into Downhill/FreeRide mountain biking. If so what kind of bike do you have and where do you ride?

I used to, trying to get back into it but I don't heal as well as I used to so many of my crazy stunt riding days are long gone. My current bike is a Santa Cruz Heckler.

I do - my problem though is that my area is relatively flat. No pics of my ride though (Specialized Rockhopper). There's a lake nearby with some great trails that have surprised even seasoned riders. Right now its slightly too cold to ride so the bike is hanging on the garage ceiling. I'm getting up there in age and don't heal as quickly either, and cold weather sure ain't gonna help.

Great, now I REALLY can't wait for spring...

Nice i did't think i would get any replies. I just bought a used Azonic Saber Frame thats in good condition for a great price. I will take a picture as soo as I get the fork for it (in a few days). My area isn't all that great for riding b ut there are a dew good spots here and there but the sub-zero weather isnt helping much!

I have an old KHS cromo 15" frame with custom bits from "back in the day". Great geometry on that frame. Profile cro-mo cranks, single front ring, Ringle Zu Zu's Pedals, Shimano DX front and rear v-brakes (the BMX red ones, including a unique left DX lever), Profile cro-mo bar (never was available for sale), ODI lock on grips and a bunch of other stuff.

It's going to be replaced shortly with something new that will have disc brakes.

I have a yellow cannondale super V specialized to fit my size.no pics, but it is beautiful. I inherited it from a friend who just happened to be the exact same height as me...lucky me! I like to ride out at the Konza Prairie...there are some great trails. There are also some great places around the lake here.

I rjust started riding here in Central Florida, a little bit north of Oviedo. Definately a lot of fun.

I started out with a MOtobecane. Not the most expesive but gets the job done for now. I will probbaly have to upgrade towards the end of the year.

How do you like the 888? Im gonna have to settle for the Drop off triple myself money is very hard to come by for me but the fork should do just fine. I will have 7 inches of travel in the front and 7 in the rear(I don't use the stock romic that cam on the bike i use an older fox shock.)

Couldn´t be better, but it's more a DH susp. for FR I wouldn't recomend it. I've seen firends breaking 888s on big jumps.

I get less radical as I'm getting older. But I ride Titus--a Switchblade here, a MotoLite at my other place.

Yeah deffinately..I could never afford that anyway haha, not like my Saber would do all that great as a DH bike but it will be perfect for my FR style. I just bought my fork 2 nights ago and can't wait for it to get here although i am a little worried because i have heard some bad things about it :/
