Awesome pics, thanks a bunch for them. Anyone know when exactly this will reach Hong Kong? I presume the HKFOC is involved?
Hi Otto, the club resides in the dealer's office & it's a close family here, probably less than a 100cars in total which is very high for a tiny island. The agent owns both Singapore & Malaysia dealership. Unfortunately I forgot to take a pic of the baton. It's got lots of mini enamelled badges all over it & featured the F1 tracks as well. No light or fire though. Justin, I think it'll take a few weeks to reach HK. I heard it's going China first & someone from the factory is either with the convoy or flying around. The Italian ambassador was @ our event as well.
Great pictures Jon...makes me feel like having a Ferrari again. Love that Dino, King1sg took it for a sunday morning drive once few years back.
Justin, Sound like 8/2, see this: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124383&page=4 Will try my best to reach those place and take some pics for them.
Thanks for posting thoses pictures, Jon. Now in LA and I can only drool! That Dino is fantastic. I suppose once these cars hit 35 years, we can bring them in on classic plate registration? Would love to have a 512BBi. Don't suppose any in S'pore?
There is one or two 512BB (unregistered) in HSM garage & I think the Johor Sultan has at least one including the Daytona. I was toying the idea of buying a Dino & importing over then slap on a classic plate too but the car is worth so much these days & you can't find finance, which means hard cash GBP60K for something you can use only 60days a year~ I'd rather buy a Countach for ten grand lesser but it's not old enough to be a classic here now. Another idea is to register these classics in Malaysia where they don't have the 10yr COE & yearly MOT. The spare money can be used to buy a house to store them
Same feelings Phil. There is one full Hamann kitted 360 for sale & I would like a nice 308 to keep. That Dino has just recently completed a restoration with black/red Daytona seats but I think King should be shopping for some nice orig. wheels or caps as they taped the old caps over to prevent them from falling.
Top job Jon..! Great piccies to drool over and yes...it brings back the lovin' feeling, for Ferraris, in spades...
Soon Jon, soon. Early production LP400s will be 35 years old by 2009 and what a sight it will be to see one here on the roads. Only problem, not many in the world. Still, one of the most awesome cars ever made. For us classic car lovers, the time is coming soon. Now got to save real hard! For me: 1. Dino 246GTS 2. 512BB 3. 275GTB 4. LP400 5. Muira S
Jon, he is the same owner who has the full Hamann Gallardo Yellow SE. I hope he is getting a F599 with full Hamann and I will definitely buy off him in future. That car with that kit is fantastic! Remember those pics I posted?
Yap, heard he has ordered 20" for his 599...& yes those pics look quite unlike a norm 599. I haven't seen his Gallardo, heard he's quite a "Hermit".
Hello, No 3 & 5 are approaching a million bucks now with #5 catching up. So, those are outta my sight for good.
Don't worry, there are going to be many more events this year for Ferrari owners and the Fans of Ferrari. Stay tuned and more will be know in the coming weeks. Try a event with 100 Ferrari Cars! Coming to a location near you!
