I know alot of the guys have relationships (both good and bad) with the local dealers. I found a nice Red w. stripe (don't think it is factory) , 9 K miles, US Car, CS, Red and Black alcantara interior, upgraded audio package, listed at 178K at Ft. Lauderdale Collection http://www.fortlauderdalecollection.com/detail-2004-ferrari-360_modena-challenge_stradale-pompano_beach-1348802.html Any and all opinions are greatly appreciated. JPD
Too bad, just sold a CS for less with less miles. Of course if I had known I would have offered it to someone local instead it went to CO.
I doubt she has any laying around b/c Robert takes any stickers not in use. I guess he feels they ALL need a home. JP - Car looks nice. You have the stradale bug now huh? Have you decided on a color yet? hahaha
JP, I don't have any info specific to that car, but, in general....... Get a PPI, and have it plugged into the OBDII computer to test the clutch life, F1 adjustments, etc.... Also, find out if it still has some warranty left (assuming it's a US car). Also, make sure it's original paint - get them to use a paint meter on it. Also, be prepared to fall in love.......there's nothing like a CS.......
I vaguely remember a few months ago a discussion about this particular car...but I can't find it with the search engine. If memory serves, the question was why it has a roll bar and a US VIN when rollbars were not available on US cars, but they *were* available in European cars. I would make sure the VIN on the webpage is correct...confirming a US car...and then find out how the roll bar got on there (aftermarket?). The price indicates Euro as well. Could the 'A' in the VIN be a typo? If the dealer is publishing the incorrect VIN...that's where I stop trusting 'em and walk away. Hope this helps.
went to look at it, and the car has very bad SUN damage. the whole alcantra dash has faded, the dark black is now greenish yellow. the center caps on the wheels are faded too. paint work poor, not the right car. had afactory stripe tho, very nice.
lol i know what they are....but why have those....when u have this http://photos.ebizautos.com/6305/1348802_12.jpg
How the hell whoudl I know that there is one of us looking for one. If you are looking for one you can have the brain sight and ask me if I know of one. After all I have a dealership that sells nothing BUT Ferrari.
The box between the seats actually houses the subwoofers. Speakers/tweeders are under the dash. The subwoofer box is also used on the standard 360.
brain sight? funny. i don't know if that's a word, or two words, or a term. haha as a courtesy, i don't call you martin....if i were to call you everytime i got the hunch to get a new toy...we'd be on speed dial. ps: i put the cs hunt to bed. not for me, need a more driveable car. pss: i was with robertm yesterday, went through about 10 options, ended back at one.
with jp yesterday, we left after lunch and drove south looking for a new machine. Now I am paying the price. I will be working most of the day to try and catch up . ( But had a lot of fun. My 10 minute union break is up, back to work (reading a lease) - how BORING. What a great day, I want to go out for a nice drive with the machine.
