The V-12 ONLY fit into my 308 when I cut 1/3 of the passenger gas tank off. It would likey not fit in a dino. Also the transmission on a 308 will take up to about 400hp before coming apart and I doubt that a dino could take that much.
The motor is currently getting a rebuild with new rods, pistons, and reground cams. Also I am redesigning the intake to better accomodate the EFI system and reworking the headders.

I've been running mine at over 500+ hp/440 ft-lb touque for a couple years and it's been fine. I'll see how it likes 600+ hp/500+ft-lb torque this spring. The guys at Norwood told me they have had a couple track cars running 800hp for years without any trouble (at least not with the trans), and they though the part looked as strong as the 512 stuff that work to 1100-1200

When building the 355 powered 308 we measured the 246 Dino. It was close but the 355 drivetrain will fit in a Dino. That would be an amazing car. Super fast and super balanced. Anyone got a drivetrain-less Dino?

Its not just you, its a V-8 QV motor.

Charles, would you have any pics of your project? Motor pics?? I think I speak for everyone here that some pics of your V-12 308 would be the icing on the cake. It dont have to be finished, we love seeing half apart cars too. :)

355 engine in a 246? - agree with comments re: Dino vintage, but that sounds quite an appealing combination....
