silver Maserati at the airport last week; red Lambo Countach driving down Poyrdas last night around 7 PM.

 

I wonder if the red Countach was John H's?

 

There is another 25th anniv. Countach red also that I know of in town

 

Oh--didn't realize about the 2nd Countach.

 

If it's the one I think you're talking about, it's no longer here. Been gone for a few months.

AFIK, there are only 2. J's and that white turd off the I10 service road.

We should get together soon. I've been slammed with things for the past few weeks but can maybe do lunch thurs or friday.

 

I don't believe the one I saw was a 25th anniv model; the vents above the rear wheels looked like the earlier models. However, it was dark and I was a few hundred feet away so I could be wrong.

As for it being John H's that was my first thought. It was headed down Poydras towards the river and I've heard/seen John's 430 several times after 5 PM. I work on the 31st Floor of a bldg on Poydras and now and then I'll hear him pass below!

 

That is the one I was thinking of. Dang he didn't have that one too long hadn't he just bought it when I saw it?

 

Yeah, he was sad to get rid of it, but a huge opportunity presented itself and the rest is history.
Besides, that thing is anything but confortable to drive unless you are 5'5" 150 and wear a size 8 shoe. My big a$$ was a tight fit while driving. Still an incredible car!!!!!!!!!

I just got a new neighbor-a red Lamborghini 25th Anniversary Countach. Too bad it's actually a fiero. But I must say, the car looks very original-not some hack job.

 

I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth...

Are you sure it isn't real? I have heard 80's Lambo build quality described as on par with a kit car before.

 

Actually, I would have loved to, but I am sick and have been puking all day. Ugh...

Saw a Viper today. It has been a long time since I'e seen one. Also a Hummer H1 on Seigen.

 

Friend saw a Maybach with Florida plates on Broadway by St. Charles yesterday and a new black Lambo Murcie on St. Charles today.

 

Today I saw the same champagne 612 I saw the weekend of the FFQC. It has out of state plates with IRR IIRC.

It was i-10 EB.

 

Yesterday on I-49, just south of Alexandria, Ford GT40 dark blue with white stripes.

 

Saw the same one parked on Felicity, right off of St. Charles at about noon. He was parked there for about an hour or so. There was also a black DB9 on General Degaulle @ Holiday, headed toward English Turn on Friday, around 5pm.
